Title: Living in fellowship with God
Galatians (13) Life in fellowship with God
"The greatest wisdom"
Habits are really scary for humans. At first, I thought of the grace of the cross and received the gospel with joy, but because of my instinct and habit of thinking, “Because I am smart!”, the cross gets smaller and self-righteousness often increases. Legalism eventually arises out of those habits and instincts. If a tiger is raised with a puppy from a young age, it will grow up to be docile. But one day, if he happens to meet a tiger identical to his own, the tiger's wildness comes back to life and becomes a beast again.
It is the same in the religious life. When a person who used to fortune-telling in the past accepts the Gospel, they accept it with joy at first, but one day when they meet Jesus fortune-tellers under the guise of a prophetic prayer, from then on, they are often drawn to Jesus fortune-telling rather than the Gospel. Such instincts and habits are terrifying. Therefore, even if you hold on to the grace of the cross and start your life of faith, recognize that you always have an instinct to show your actions and do not let that instinct damage the gospel.
Even though he knew that the cross was the truth of salvation, he was driven by instinct and saw the retreat of faith that began in the Holy Spirit and ended in the flesh. Now, under no circumstances should you step back from the cross, and if there is something you are good at, know that it is because of God's grace. The basic source of all blessings is faith that depends on the merits of the cross of Jesus. Therefore, give priority to your deep communion with God rather than your primary concern for your actions.
"Life in fellowship with God"
What are the benefits of living in fellowship with God? First, you get peace of mind. Second, the soul becomes clear and pure. Third, holy energy arises. Fourth, you get absolute victory. As long as you do not lose God, there is no final defeat in your life. Fifth, the most blessed life unfolds. The life of fellowship with God is the most blessed life among human beings. How can we have deep fellowship with God?
First, seek the presence of God. God gives the highest score to the pursuit of God itself, more than any human action. Therefore, never give up your soul's effort to meet God.
Second, give yourself up. God's presence is not achieved through effort, but is obtained when we give up something we value within ourselves. If you have never experienced God's presence, it is usually because you have failed to give up.
Third, love God. There are fake love and real love in God's love. Fake love is more interested in God's gift than God's, but real love is not interested in God's gift at all. Those who only care about God enter deep fellowship with God.
Fourth, love your neighbor. A deep communion with God can be achieved only when we have a heart to love and forgive our neighbors. There is a simple yet profound secret to the saints living a life overflowing with power and authority and singing happiness in the blessings of God's presence. It is to love God and to love our neighbor.
Fifth, give God more time. Deep communion with God is proportional to the time you spend with God. It's not about not doing other things, it's about thinking about God while doing it. When you wake up in the morning, think of the Lord, and in the evening when you go to bed, think of the Lord and go to bed. So, through the conscious discipline of actually walking with God, make your whole life a worship of God.
Don't be afraid of anything in life. But have only one fear. It is “the loss of communion with God.” Have no fears other than that one fear. When fellowship with God is cut off, the fountain of blessing is cut off, and when fellowship with God deepens, the fountain of blessing also deepens.
