Title: Living Praise (Ezekiel 37:9-10)
When it was brought to life, the dead bones came to life.
Here, 'vitality' means 'living energy' and is interpreted to mean the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, this amazing work was caused by the work of the Holy Spirit, and the method to accomplish this work of the Holy Spirit is also a vital and living prayer.
Also, if we say that a hymn is a tuned prayer, a living prayer means a living hymn.
Therefore, living praise can accomplish the amazing work of bringing the dead back to life.
Through singing, we can give hope, vitality, and vitality to life that is dry because love is dry, the Word is dry, and life is dry.
Therefore, we should not sing meaningless dead hymns, but live hymns.
Also, I hope that the choir appointed today will sing this living hymn and become a choir that accomplishes the amazing miracle of bringing the dead souls back to life.
What is a living hymn
1. It is a hymn that comes from the heart.
In 1 Samuel 16:7, "The LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or height; I have forsaken him; I do not look like men; man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
A hymn sung without the heart is a dead hymn.
It should not be a hymn that is sung while yawning, but it should be a hymn that is sung centrally according to the mood of the hymn while savoring the lyrics.
2. This is a hymn sung with all your heart (sing with your best effort)
If you do not know the tune, you must sing it with all your heart to make it a living hymn.
Also, just because you have a beautiful voice without sincerity doesn't mean it can't be done.
There is a saying in 1 Corinthians 13, 'If there is no love, there is a sounding copper and a ringing quagmire'.
A hymn that unites the tongue, soul, and God and sings with sincerity with all effort becomes a living hymn.
Giving sincerity also includes singing according to the tune and the lyrics.
It is not a good attitude to never ignore the tune or change the lyrics.
3. It is a hymn that bears fruit.
A living seed must bear fruit (mustard seed - small - big tree - bird nests).
(Seeds found in pyramids - growing fruit
concluded)
Such a hymn that comforts, refreshes, exhorts, and allows us to experience the power through hymn can be said to be a living hymn.
4. It is always a hymn.
To be alive means to always go on.
In other words, a living person cannot temporarily stop breathing or stop his pulse.
If the breathing stops or the pulse stops, the head ceases to function continuously, the person is not already alive.
The hymn should go on as long as we live.
Also, living hymns always go on.
It is not a hymn that is sung in the choir, and it is not a hymn that ends with a hymn sung in worship.
In the name of the Lord, I pray in the name of the Lord that all of our choir members and members of the church will become virtuous, receive grace, and accomplish God's great will by accomplishing the amazing work of the Holy Spirit through this living praise.
