Text: Song of Songs 2:15-17
When a little fox roams the vineyard, it ruins the crop. The vineyard is our heart, our home, and our church. However, a small sin enters and disturbs our hearts as vineyards. It hurts. So they destroy the vineyard of the heart. This is to guard against it. Little foxes also make our vineyards like hell. And it disturbs our church, the vineyard, and makes it unfruitful.
They say, “Catch the little fox.”
Satan is jealous and jealous of our happiness and joy.
A little fox entered the Garden of Eden and turned the good garden into a wormwood field.
Everyone! You must catch the little fox that destroys homes and churches. If you neglect small things, it is easy to develop into big problems.
1. The little fox lacks responsibility for the mission.
Everyone has a place to stand and a role to play. The same goes for households. If the parent fails, the child derails. If the child does not play a role, it is invalid for the parent. If you don't play the role of a brother, you always fight and the house becomes noisy. So is the church. A believer who believes first should set an example for new believers. We must guide and help the weak. In Ephesians 5, it says, “Pay careful attention to how you walk” (15). This means always knowing where I am and knowing my responsibilities. Catching the little fox is to fulfill your mission and responsibilities at home or at church.
2. Little foxes are busy.
It's good to be busy with your work. However, it is worth thinking about, ‘Are you busy with things that you must be busy with?’
One of the most used words in modern times is that of busy. Some people are busy and can't worship. I can't pray because I'm busy. I can't preach because I'm busy. I am too busy to serve the Lord.
So what the hell are you busy with and for whom are you busy? What are the benefits of living such a busy life without God?
The Bible says “Save the time, for the times are evil” (16).
Doesn't the bustle of the world we live in take away precious time in vain?
3. Little foxes are indifference and avoidance.
“Understand what the will of the Lord is” (17). We must understand what God's will is and live according to it. It is the little fox who is indifferent to God. Indifference to family and indifference to children are factors that cause the family to collapse. You cannot achieve a blessed relationship if you are indifferent to the other person. How much do you care about God? We need to pay attention to what God wants, what pleases us, and what His will is for us. This is what catches the little fox.
4. How to catch a fox that destroys the vineyard?
First, we must cast away our thoughts of sin.
Second, we must listen to our conscience.
Third, we must earnestly long for the Word.
Fourth, we must always pray and believe passionately.
The way to overcome sin and overcome Satan is to pray. You have to believe more intensely.
That way you can catch the little fox.
With the power of the Holy Spirit, we must be wary of the little fox. You have to catch it. That is why I must guard my soul, which is a vineyard, with grace. We must keep our homes by faith. We must protect the church with love.
Please always be armed with the Word and prayer. Please live a passionate life of faith with the Holy Spirit.
So, I hope that you will live a life that overcomes sin and the power of Satan, the little foxes that destroy us.
