Title: Longing Heart (Psalm 73:20-28)
Content 1. Our heart is always seeking and longing. It is the nature of living people to seek and long for. A living person wants to develop. The poor will want to become rich, and the ignorant will want to learn many things. Those who do not have power want to have power. All human beings are not satisfied with their current situation and are constantly searching for something better and something better. However, it is not the same for everyone. Some seek riches, some seek wisdom, some seek positions of authority, some seek comfort, and some seek daily bread. However, there are those who regard wisdom, learning, wealth, honor, status, and all as scavengers, and spend their whole lives composing and reciting poetry, while others spend their whole lives in art or theater, and the surplus is all over the world. There are those who throw things away like grasshoppers and go into the mountains to find the way to liberation. Because there is something that everyone seeks and yearns for, the world has a taste and hope to live in. If there was nothing to hope for and find, this world would be drier and less livable than the desert.
2. What do modern people seek? What most modern people seek is out of attachment to life. They set their own goals to live well and try to find the things they need. However, in this world, there are those who are fortunate enough to find what they are looking for while devoting their lives to finding their goal, but there are many people who end their lives because they do not get what they are looking for. In the world, there are those who have achieved great wealth, some who have succeeded in academics, some who have gained fame through the arts, and there are many who have succeeded in business. Then, can it be said that they were satisfied and happy just because they got what they set out to do? Would they say that they truly possessed happiness? It wouldn't have been truly satisfying. Modern people are looking for bread, and once they get it, they start looking for more than that. Therefore, there is always only desire in their hearts.
3. People in the world like the wilderness cannot escape loneliness. Whether we go east or west, there is no day when sighs, tears and pain end. Every human being is a pain pouch when they take off their human mask. When you get one thing, it's a pain because you lack one thing. Even if we get everything in the world, we will never be free from anguish, sorrow, and pain. As Goethe, the lucky one, lamented, "There was only one truly pleasant day in my whole life." Even when Napoleon burned Moscow and was in the joy of victory, he wept and lamented the emptiness of his life, and at the end he cried bitterly in his cell on the island of St. said to have done. Also, King Jinsi was unable to stay on the moon that passed over Seosan by a command, so he was engulfed in grief and lamented his weakness. Therefore, the world is just as silent as the wilderness. What is the way out of this?
4. Longing for eternity In 1 John 2:17, “the world goes and goes and the lust is, but the one who does the will of God is in the world”, 1 Peter 2:24, “All flesh is like grass, and its glory is grass. It is like the flower of The lust of the eyes passes, the pride of this life passes, the passion of good luck passes, and all pleasures and happiness pass away. Knowledge goes, art goes, friends go, enemies go, love goes, heart goes, all of these are temporary. But the only thing that is eternal is the word of Jehovah God. They are also those who do the will of God. Therefore, the human mind is not satisfied with the finite, but seeks the eternal.
