Title: Lord of All / Ephesians 1:11-23

Contents

- Introduction -

In the Bible, a man named Lazarus is a man of miracles who came out of the tomb after he had died and was buried in the tomb, after four days had been wrapped in white bandages. There are very few examples of people dying and coming back to life. Doctors say that a person's chances of reviving from a moribund state are within 48 hours.

It is also said that the period of thinness of the EEG phenomenon is less than 48 hours. It is possible only when the brain wave phenomenon does not occur. But Lazarus came out of the tomb after 96 hours. This is impossible with human strength.

It is only possible for an existence that can transcend death, an existence that can control death. Jesus Christ raised Lazarus. He died on the cross and came out of the tomb 72 hours later. This is a historical fact.

It is an undeniable event that no one can deny.

1. Jesus Christ the King

If you read the Gospels, you will find the account of the birth of Jesus. The command of God given by an angel to the Virgin Mary, the marriage to Joseph with a baby in her body, the work of going to Bethlehem to register, renting a horse stable of a man's house and having a child there, and the poorest shepherd. He was worshiped by the shepherds and the wise men of the Magi who had abundant knowledge wearing the most luxurious clothes, and King Herod's wrath and merciless slaughter of children, etc. does it

And if you read Matthew chapters 1 to 25, you can see that he was a great leader, philosopher, and religious man who was born into a royal family and lived in poverty, but he had a mature personality and led many people to the right path. However, these things only prove that they were only one human being.

Chapters 26 to 28 of the Gospel of Matthew are the culmination of the life of Jesus. The scenes of being sold into the hands of a disciple, being judged, dying on a cross, resurrected on the third day, and ascending to heaven on the 40th day give us great surprise. and at the same time convince them that he is the Son of God.

Among these last events, the resurrection event in particular compels him to acknowledge his dominion over all peoples. There are many rulers in this world, but all of them died and were buried. In other words, although he could control people, he could not control the death that came before him.

Only Jesus Christ has dominion over death. Therefore, he is the greatest sovereign in this world. He has become the Lord of Manmin. There is nothing in the world that would not kneel at his feet. The wind, the waves, the sun, even

Even the demons are forced to obey his feet.

2. Jesus Christ as our Savior

One day, Jesus and his disciples came to a secluded well in the city of Suga and asked a Samaritan woman to draw water. But this woman refused to give water, and said, "You are a young Jew, why do you ask a lowly Samaritan woman like me for a drink?" asked the question.

At this point, Jesus said, "If you had known the gift of God and who it is that asks for a drink, you would have asked him for living water, and he would have given me living water." At this time, the woman asks, "Give me also to drink from the net."

But Jesus asked a completely different question. "Go and get your husband." The woman recognized Jesus as the Messiah and left everything behind. She could not bear the joy of letting go, so she went to tell her friends about this.

Anyone who meets Jesus will experience the same joy as this woman.

For he has the right to forgive sins and has the power of God to lead from death to salvation.

We are chosen beings who have been promised a new life by God.

He has been endowed with the power to overcome the world and death from God. Therefore, we must cast off the chains of sin and live a life of courageous faith.

3. The Church is the Body of Christ

The church is the gathering of those who have been promised a new life with the forgiveness of sins, and the church is a sacred body with Christ as its head. Therefore, the church must absolutely obey the commands of Christ. The command of Jesus Christ is to spread the truth of His Word and His Resurrection to the ends of the earth.

This is the great command of Jesus, and at the same time it is the task of the kingdom of God that requires sacrifice. There must be a resolution of active self-renunciation, and there must be a sacrifice of self-giving.

We are members of the church. We must live up to this mission given by the Lord, save even one life, and build the kingdom of God where we stand. - Grace Ministry Information - 97.11 ?ermon/Park Seong-gyu-mok

Today we have a new awareness of the resurrected Jesus Christ as our Savior. Therefore, we must evangelize this land with the pride of being the people of God who saves all people.
