Can love without joy exist? "Sad Love" may be the language of poetry, but not the language of life. Because love must be accompanied by joy.
God's commandment of love is not heavy. It's light, fun, and happy. What is love without joy? That would be "carnal and selfish love." This love usually makes you compare yourself to others and often ends with painful jealousy and loss of joy. But true love is always accompanied by joy.
Love is the sunshine of joy!
Just as beauty does not shine where there is no sunlight
Where there is no joy, love will not shine.
In Galatians 5:22 in the Bible, the nine fruits of the Spirit are found. What is that? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit. What comes immediately after the fruit of love in this verse? It is the fruit of joy, that is, the fruit of joy. Could it not be that love and joy cannot be considered separately?
A life of faith without joy is dead. Even a hymn without joy is dead. Likewise, love without joy is dead love. Humans have a sinful nature in their deep nature, so there is no joy in loving with my love. But when you love with the love of Jesus, amazing joy will arise. That love keeps us from losing joy in the midst of difficulties. Because true love is love that finds the conditions of joy in the midst of difficulties.
Is the sacrifice more painful? Is suffering more painful?
In terms of the size of the pain, the sacrifice will outweigh the suffering.
Would the sacrifice be easier to make? Would suffering be easier to bear?
Sacrifice is easier to accept than suffering because there is joy in sacrifice.
See a mother's love for her children. At the expense of great suffering for their children, the mother rejoices. This is true love. There is something we often experience. It is an experience that makes you taste good when you fall in love. It must be the same reason that a young man who has always treated his family with nervousness is happy to have the opposite sex and treats him with joy. Try true love. A happy life full of true joy will unfold.
