Title: Love each other passionately
Contents
Now that things have come up in the last ye therefore, and pray to sober senses. Above all, love one another zealously, for love covers a multitude of sins. Treat one another without grumbling, and as each has received a gift, serve one another as good stewards of the various graces of God (1 Peter 4:7-10).
Why did the apostle say, "Love, but love earnestly"? It means 'go crazy with love', which means that if you love you will go crazy. When a person takes on a job and wants to do it right, he has to be crazy about it, but if he loves his job, he goes crazy. When a person sacrifices himself to serve someone, a country, or an institution, he must love the object to serve him madly. There is no better way of teaching than a teacher's love for educating his students, and there is nothing more than loving the Myobang of the Myobang where parents raise their children well. There are no miracles in human work. But there is always one instance where something that seems miraculous does happen, and that is when it comes to love.
Passionate love produces miracles that make even enemies friends, makes fools into geniuses, and makes people overcome the heavenly soldiers with empty fists. If you fall for love, you will receive death as sweet as honey. Even if I work, I love and work for it. You treat people with love. A third miracle is produced when man and business, man and man relate to each other in passionate love. It is how something new is produced that was not expected before. Here, when the Apostle Peter said, "The end of all things is near, love each other earnestly." Why did he say to love fervently? Let's think about it quietly again. It also means that God's wrath and judgment have now decisively heralded the end of the universe and mankind, but nevertheless, the only way to get one chance even if the time of the end is extended again is only possible through earnest love for each other. The end results in mutual hatred, jealousy, enmity, and quarrels between human beings, but if we love each other, we cannot help but prosper forever. Therefore, it is an exhortation to love one another fervently if we will not perish. It is said that if you love passionately, even the dead and the fallen world can be revived.
Gogol, a famous novelist at the end of Tsar Russia, wrote a short story called "Ivan and Peter" while watching the communist uproar fanning the revolution on one side.
A grudge cannot be solved with revenge. Small sins cannot be overcome by big sins. So, in this Bible, "Love covers countless sins" is the truth that only the cloth of love covers up the countless sins and faults. Only love can cover up the sins of enmity, resentment, envy, jealousy, and hostility. If you love, all your faults and insults will be covered. Because love is blind. Because when love is blind, the bad looks good, and the bad looks good. How can this nation be able to live kindly on this earth until it is once blinded by love, forgets everything, forgives, and rises again? In the future, how long will we continue the battle that has been ruined together with no one who loses or wins? As believers in Jesus, we must live by spreading this love and putting it into practice before fighting and calling for justice.
