▒▒ 2 Samuel 18:24~33

The existentialist philosopher Gyren Kierkegaard once said, “Man is like a hedgehog.” All human beings take action to protect themselves first. This selfish act for oneself is to turn into sharp thorns like the hair of a hedgehog. Hedgehogs can't stick together even when it's cold and have no choice but to live apart because they hurt and bleed when they stick together. It is said that even these hedgehogs sacrifice themselves and bleed in front of their loved ones.

In Matthew 15, Jesus goes to the regions of Tire and Sidon. A woman followed Jesus and said, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.” cry out. Jesus pretends not to hear and ignores the woman. The woman again cried out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.” Jesus said, “I have not come to any other place than the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Because this woman was a foreigner. The woman goes on to ask Jesus to have mercy on her. Jesus refuses the woman's plea, saying, "It is not right to throw the bread to the dogs for the master's children." Why did the woman continue to plead while being ignored by Jesus? It was only to heal his own demon-possessed daughter. The woman continued to cling to Jesus despite her sacrifice, her self-esteem, and her feelings of hurt because she believed that only Jesus could heal her demon-possessed daughter. You can read the heartbreaking love of a mother for her children.

The important thing is that just as beans grow when you plant beans, and beans grow when you plant red beans, when we know our parents' grace and filial piety, our children learn to follow. Conversely, when we tell our children to be filial without filial piety, they sneer inside. There is such a funny story. A son takes his mother on a jig to bury her in Goryeo. His son followed him. He left his mother deep in the mountains, and his son was carrying the burden. When the father asked, “Hey man, why are you carrying the burden?” the son said, “I want to bring you here next time.” said to have done it.

A single mother did all sorts of difficult things by herself and sent her son to college. The son who entered college remembered his mother's love and studied hard, finishing first for four years in college and graduating with the highest grade. On the day of the graduation ceremony, the president gave a gold medal to his son's neck. The son, with the gold medal around his neck, walked to his mother, who wore a shabby coat around the corner. Then, she hangs the gold medal hanging from her neck around her mother's neck and says, "The person who will receive this gold medal is your mother." ' said the mother, and she cried without saying anything. Tears fell from the eyes of everyone who watched the scene. This son is President Wilson of the United States.

“Honor your parents. This is the first commandment with a promise, that it may go well with you and you may live long on the earth.” May these blessings be with you.
