Love that gives freedom (1 Corinthians 3:5)
“It is not rude, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil” (1 Corinthians 13:5).
I. One of the methods God uses to expand our love is ‘testing’.
※God is willing to spread unlovable people around us so that we can learn true love.
(1) those who are difficult to get along with; rude person (1 Corinthians 13:5a)
(2) People with high demands;
⑶ disappointing people;
⑷The most difficult type are “destructive people”.
II. How do you react when you meet these types of people? (1 Corinthians 13:5)
(1) The rude person should have a sense of language.
①Listening (Proverbs 18:13) - Interrupting the other person. rude not to listen
② Speak sensibly (Ephesians 4:31-32) - with a positive attitude,
③ The tone should be emphasized. Please reply with kind words. You act according to who you want to be. Love is not only sincere, but also sensible.
(2) Those who are demanding should try to understand the interests of others (Phil. 2:5-7).
① Showing an attitude of understanding rather than demanding when treating each person with respect.
☞Practice task is to practice understanding the interests of others instead of demanding your own interests.
② A good way to understand (Titus 3:2) - Do your best to know the other person's background, problems, and burdens (Matthew 7:12).
⑶ Treat those who disappoint you with kindness, not judgment (Galatians 6:1).
① Acceptance (Colossians 3:13),
②Use judgment (Romans 14:12)
③ Married life (Proverbs 15:4)
④ Relationship with boss (Ecclesiasts 10:4)
⑷ For destructive people
① It must not be repeated in the heart (Leviticus 19:17) “Love has no evil in mind” ② It must not be repeated in an argument (Proverbs 17:9).
③ You must stop spreading rumors (Proverbs 16:28). Do not talk to others. Talk to God and talk to the person who hurt you (Mark 11:25).
④ What we need is to return to Jesus and obey His Word to forgive (Proverbs 10:12, 19:11).
(Job 18:4) “You who tear yourself up with wrath, will the earth be forsaken because of you, or will it be removed from its place?”
Forgiveness is because it is the right thing to do and the only way to be free.
