1. Love is,
God is love (1 John 4:8.16)

Love is in Jesus (1 Timothy 1:14)
Love is keeping the commandments of the Lord (2 John 1:6)
Love is the fulfillment of the law (Romans 13:8.10)
Love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
Love is the perfect bond (Colossians 3:14).
It is the perfection of all virtues (1 Corinthians 8:1, 2 Peter 1:7).
Without love there is nothing (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)

2. God loves you,

He showed great works (salvation) because he loved his son Jesus (John 5:20).
He loves and delights in Jesus (Matthew 3:17. 12:18)
God loved Jesus and gave all things to his Son (John 3:35).
God loved the world (John 3:16; John 17:23)
God loved us (before we loved God) (1 John 4:10. 19).
God loves quietly (Zep 3:17) - He cannot overcome joy with this.
We are those whom Jesus loves (John 11:3)
