The study of love (1 Corinthians 13:13; Zep 3:13-17; Isaiah 5:1)

1. Love is,

God is love (1 John 4:8.16)

Love belongs to God (1 John 4:7)

Love is in God (1 John 3:10). That is, those who love are those who dwell in God.

Love is in Jesus (1 Timothy 1:14)

Love is keeping the commandments of the Lord (2 John 1:6)

Love is the fulfillment of the law (Romans 13:8.10)

Love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).

Love is the perfect bond (Colossians 3:14).

It is the perfection of all virtues (1 Corinthians 8:1, 2 Peter 1:7).

Without love there is nothing (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)

Love casts out fear (1 John 4:18).

Love sanctifies (Ephesians 1:4)

Love is long-suffering (1 Corinthians 13:4)

Love is gentle (1 Corinthians 13:4)

Love rejoices with the truth (1 Corinthians 13:6).

He showed great works (salvation) because he loved his son Jesus (John 5:20).

He loves and delights in Jesus (Matthew 3:17. 12:18)

God loved Jesus and gave all things to his Son (John 3:35).

God loved the world (John 3:16; John 17:23)

God loved us (before we loved God) (1 John 4:10. 19).

God loves quietly (Zep 3:17) - He cannot overcome joy with this.

We are those whom Jesus loves (John 11:3)

He loved us and set us free from our sins by His blood (Rev 1:5).

Because of the great love with which God loved us, He made us alive together with Him (Ephesians 2:4-5)

Jesus kept the commandments of God and dwelt in His love (John 15:10).

Redemption from Pharaoh (evil) (Deuteronomy 7:8)
