Title: Love your brother (1 Peter 3:8-17)

In May, Children's Day, Mother's Day, Couple's Day, and Teacher's Day are specially designated and remembered. If the family is viewed as the smallest unit of community, modern times are expanding the region and the world into one community. Peter is teaching us what the Christian life should be like in the seemingly unreasonable relationship between parent and child, husband and wife, and brotherhood. Today we demand a new Christian identity through brotherhood.
The first is love for the brothers who believe. We teach unity as one heart and one body through brotherly love. There is no unity in the works of the flesh that are performed by the standard of man. Brothers who do the good of faith can only become one through the words of Jesus Christ.
It teaches brotherly love to be compassionate and humble. Even if you have faith, you can become one with a heart of forgiveness as one who has received mercy toward brothers who do evil.
I have been called to do this. The purpose of giving blessings and commanding forgiveness is to receive blessings as an inheritance. The eyes of the Lord toward those who love our brothers and the ears of the righteous who hear the supplications of the righteous are evident in our lives.
The second is love for unbelieving brothers. We are living in an age that afflicts believers, but we must work hard to do good. We should expect the gospel to be preached with meekness and fear and trembling to those who live good lives but are ignorant of hope. If you do good with zeal, you cannot harm the evil one, and you do not need to be troubled even if you suffer.
We must have a good conscience and deal with the wicked. We must continue until those who insult good deeds are ashamed of what they slandered. Suffering for doing good is God's will on this earth.
Just as God's will for all people to attain salvation was accomplished through his Son Jesus, the amazing work of salvation will continue through the life of a set apart saint who endures suffering and does good.
Love must extend not only in the home, but in all nations. We must share the love of Christ not only with believers but also with non-believers. I pray that the will of God the Father will prevail throughout the lives of holy people on this earth.
