Title: Love Your Enemies!
If we look back at each of the words Jesus said, we humans are too inconsistent to keep and live. The same is true of the saying, “Love your enemies,” as well as the saying, “If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn it around.” And again, the saying, “Give even your cloak to anyone who wants your underwear” is too difficult for us humans to live by.
An enemy means that the other person has done something bad to me, whether intentionally or unintentionally. How can I love such an enemy so casually? It doesn't make sense unless you're a crazy person. Even if you forgave and loved the other person because you could not overcome any pressure, it would not be the true love for your enemies that the Lord speaks of.
Nevertheless, Jesus is saying that those who practice these things are worthy to become children of God. Then, on the contrary, those who do not practice these things cannot become children of God. But today, anyone who believes in Jesus name and receives only the Holy Spirit is calling God as Father. Then, those who call God their Father turn their left cheek when they slap their right cheek, and do they all carelessly love their enemies?
The answer is, there is no such person yet. Today, no matter how long a person attends a church and is filled with the Holy Spirit, he cannot love his enemies because everyone has a hatred (murder) in their hearts. The human heart is full of all kinds of ugliness. The same is true for those who have received the Holy Spirit. How can you love your enemies when you are full of such ugliness?
If there is anyone among Christians who is practicing this kind of love, he must be the Savior (son) sent by God to save the Gentiles from their sins against the Holy Spirit. Because without it, as a human being, you will never be able to show such love.
Then, is Jesus writing in the Bible the words that humans cannot keep and telling us humans to keep? Absolutely not. No matter how vicious and vicious human beings are, if they are reborn as Jesus Christ, they can love their enemies and give their left cheek to those who slap their right cheek. This does not come from receiving the Holy Spirit, but you must be born again as Jesus Christ.
To be born again through Jesus Christ means that our beings died because of our sins and were born again in Christ. Just because you believe in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit does not mean you are born again as Christ. The Holy Spirit that God poured out on those who believe in Jesus is like the law that was given to us, who lived without God's law like dogs and pigs, to live a good life of faith on earth. However, just as the people of Israel could not live by the law, neither Christian nor anyone can fully live by the law of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, all Christians today are also sinners who have broken the law.
However, ignorant of this fact, when Christians unconditionally believe in Jesus and receive only the Holy Spirit, they mistakenly believe that they have been born again into Christ and are exalted that they are saved. This is a very dangerous idea. The Holy Spirit, which the Gentiles received by believing in Jesus, was given to those who lived without knowing God to live as God's people on earth through the law of the Holy Spirit. But among the Gentiles who are corrupt in heart, none of them will live according to the Holy Spirit. So everyone is a criminal under the law.
In order to solve all these problems of the Gentiles, God sent the spiritual Son of God to the Gentiles who believed. Only when Gentile Christians believe in the Son of God who comes in this way can their sins of disobeying the Holy Spirit be forgiven and all can enter eternal life.
Even when Jesus said to love your enemies, you are saying that you must first become a sinner if you know what you are doing. This is because if I become a sinner, I will understand the feelings of others, and if I understand the feelings of others, I will eventually be able to love even my enemies. On the other hand, if I do not become a desperate sinner, I will not be able to love the other person even if I die because of the hate, envy, jealousy, and anger that are in me.
Therefore, the words Jesus wrote in the Bible cannot be understood at all unless I become a desperate sinner. As a result, many people today seem to have practiced the love of Jesus, and you and I are visiting orphanages and nursing homes and doing some volunteer work, disguising them as the love of Jesus. Even people who do not believe in Jesus can do this if they put their minds to it. there is a thing
If you look at the Old Testament, you can see that it is commanded to hate your enemies. But Jesus tells us to love our enemies. They are the same word of God, but contradict each other. The reason is that the Old Testament is written according to the law, and the New Testament is written to solve the contradictions of the law. That is why Jesus is saying that I have come as the fulfiller of the law.
The same is true today.
If you go to church today, you can see that everyone is forcing everyone to obey the law. Starting with the holy water on Sundays, we force them to pay their tithes thoroughly. And it teaches that all worship services must be attended without exception. And they teach us never to do pornography or anything that corrodes our souls. If we add to this the law of living according to the Holy Spirit, it is beyond imagination. Who can live in perfect observance of this law? Therefore, it is absolutely impossible for the saints to live by the law. Even those who teach the Word are not living by the law.
Then, why are they forcing the saints every day to enforce laws that they can't even keep? It is because they are afraid of God's judgment to come. As with the laws of this world, it is fortunate if we keep the laws of God, but if we fail to keep them, we must pay the price. This is what it means to say that believers must ultimately be judged before God.
So, who can solve the sins of Christians who have lived in disobedience to the law of the Holy Spirit? It is the Son of God who is sent to the Gentiles to solve the problem. Just as God sent Jesus to solve the sin problem of the people of Israel who lived in disobedience to the law, the spiritual son God sent will come and solve the sin problem that Gentile Christians have lived in disobeying the law of the Holy Spirit until now.
Christians living under the Holy Spirit should not be mistaken that they were saved like the Pharisees who lived under the law, but should wait for the spiritual Son of God sent by God soon. The Son of God will save only sinners yesterday and today. However, those who claim to have been saved by the Holy Spirit will have to deal with their own sin of disobeying the Holy Spirit because they will not believe in the Son that God sends. -He who has ears, let him hear and understand!-
