The apostle John declared that 'God is love.' It means that the God we believe in is a God of love, and that all that God did were acts of love. 1. Because it is the command of the Lord.
Where, then, did the apostle John learn the love that he put so much effort into emphasizing and teaching? In 1 John S chapter 1 verse 1 we read that we shall love one another, which you have heard from the beginning.' The word “heard from the beginning” here means either the news he heard from the time he began to believe in Jesus, or the first news that John himself heard from the Lord. And it also means the most important news. After following the Lord for three years, the disciples of Jesus came to know what the Lord wanted and desired the most.
It was none other than the fact that they loved each other. Because John was the one who understood this more deeply than anyone else, he taught and emphasized the importance of 'love one another' to his beloved disciples.

We are people who have received God's infinite love. To have received God's love also means that we have an obligation to repay God's love. We have received the greatest of love.

You must also pay off the debt of love. Debtors of love must pay off their debts to be able to fulfill their roles as honest people. As people who have been loved by the Lord, we must practice love according to the command of that love.
Because love casts out fear.
In verse 18 it says, 'There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, for fear has its punishment'. Law and justice frighten and frighten people, but love dispels fear. And the generosity seed becomes possible when there is love in the heart. We talk about human rights these days, but the heart of love is more important than human rights.
If the police officer handling the suspect had a loving heart in his heart, the horrifying torture or death could not have happened. What our society needs now is a movement to restore love and truth before economic or political development. There must be a movement where people trust and love each other.
A society in which there is no fear even when walking at night, a society in which there is no desire to leave the house, and a society in which parents are not prepared and do not worry about their children should come first. 3. It is because loving our brothers is concrete evidence of our love for God.
Verse 4:2o of the text says, 'If anyone says, I love God and hates his brother, he is a liar, and he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.' What we need to pay attention to here is that the measure of how much we love God is measured by how much we love our brothers.
It is a lie to say that you love God and live at enmity with your neighbors. It is a lie to say that you believe in Jesus and live with your brothers and sisters. It would be a lie to say that if you say you love God, but you do not love your brother, and if you say that you are hurting and harassing your brother, that is also a lie. 1 John 2:4 says, 'He who says I know him and does not keep his commandments is a liar.'
Failure to keep the commandment to love one another means that you do not know Jesus and you do not believe in Him. The world we live in is usually a mist of volsin, tension and hatred. No matter what anyone says, they do not accept or believe what they say. And both believers and non-believers are blaming themselves for being the last while watching the world go around. But what scares me more than the way the world is going is the envy, hatred, and prejudice that are entrenched in my heart.
A certain iron man described the human mind as a small universe. This little universe is now out of their minds and littered with greed, envy, jealousy, distrust, and strife. Let's throw the bomb of God's love there. Let the couple love each other. Let's love each other with parents and children. Let brothers love each other. Let's love each other. Let's love each other. How can you love ? It is possible by thinking of the love of Jesus and looking at the love of Jesus. Even if we delay the love of our enemies, we must first restore the love between brothers, parents, and children.
Let's listen to the word of the Lord. “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you, and you also love one another”? is the word given in John 13:34? Heaven on earth is a place where people who love each other gather. If you hate each other, that's the end of it.
Lord, let us love one another.
