Title: Loyal Saints

Contents

God has entrusted all creation with talents and talents to give you all the grace you have.

The world created by God is a huge market in which talents can be entrusted, so vegetables produce seeds and produce fruit according to their kind, and living creatures multiply according to their kind. You have to do your job with the talent you have given to him.

The first talent that God specially gave to man is obedience to God's word,

It was to fear God while cultivating Eden and keeping the tree of good and evil.

However, Eve, who was blinded by greed, ate the fruit and gave it to Adam by the serpent's temptation, and Adam also ate the fruit, so sin was passed on to all mankind.

Does God consider all mankind on this earth to be sinners?

They saw that they misappropriated the talents God gave to man in order to fulfill the desires of the flesh.

Humans were created and gifted to obey God and fear God, not to be created and gifted to fulfill their fleshly desires.

God revealed Himself to the world through prophets and sons in order to save people who are running towards the end to fulfill only the greed of the flesh for the wrong purpose of life.

So, there are those who realize the value of their existence before God through the Word and the Son, and there are those who faithfully dedicate their lives to God and achieve God's eternal life by pleasing God who entrusted them with their talents.

There are some people who distrust the Word and the Son, think they are innocent, and use all the talents God has entrusted to them to fulfill their fleshly desires. .

God is the Judge who accurately calculates the opportunities He has given each of us as much as He has given us.

God himself did not perform salvation and judgment for the world, but entrusted it to his Son.

Who is Jesus who came as the Lord of the first coming?

He came to give us eternal life after teaching people to live without knowing that sin is a sin by misusing the talents God has given to each of us.

Jesus, who will come as the Lord of the Second Coming.

He came to eternally judge the people who used their talents for their own sake but did not recognize their sins as “sin,” and “I will repay each one according to what he has done.” He does.

In the Bible, it says that no one in life just comes and goes into the world.

Because God knows a person's constitution so well, He has given each person talents according to their abilities.

so

There are some who receive the five talents and live in the world,

Some people receive two talents and live in the world,

Some people receive one talent and live by it.

After entrusting us with talents according to the talents of each human being, God expects the same result as given. God is not a wrathful one who reaps where he did not sow, but a righteous One who surely reaps where he sowed.

This is the famous parable of the talent that we have heard at least once.

When a master went to another country, he called three servants and entrusted them with talents according to their talents.

But when the master returned from a foreign country and repented of the talents he had entrusted to his servants,

The three people who received the talents each brought their talents and came to the master and counted them.

The person who received the five talents took the talents and traded them and brought them back with five talents.

The one who received the two talents also traded with them and left two talents to please the master

The man who received the one talent hid it in the ground, and when he came to the master with only one talent and was rebuked, he said, “I thought that the master was afraid, and he thought that he would not run out of money in business, so he hid the talent in the ground and brought it back.” .

} But the master praised the two servants who made a profit with five and two talents as good and faithful servants, saying, “Verse 23- Since you have been faithful over little things, I will entrust you with many things; enter into the joy of your master. ” You praise me by saying,

} Toward the servant who received the one talent, the master said, “Reprove him for being an evil and lazy servant, and give the one talent he has to the one who has stolen it, and cast him out into the darkness outside.” He says.

We can clearly see the consequences of loyalty and disloyalty in the text.

A faithful person is one who pleases his master by making a profit through the talent he has received.

A disloyal person is a realistic person who has not made a profit through talent.

Time passes and seasons change?

After all, our lives are moving toward the Creator God who entrusted us with our talents.

This time, through the parable of the talents in the text, looking at what kind of faithful saints are, how can we become loyal saints before God and participate in God's joy?

1. We must live with the spirit of stewardship before God.

A person with a spirit of stewardship is one who has the spirit that everything he owns belongs to him.

Verse 14 says that the master entrusted his possessions to the servants. This means that the master did not give the servants a lot of talent, but entrusted it to the master while he was visiting a foreign country for a while.

What is the spirit of Christian life and faith?

It starts with the confession that everything belongs to God.

Colossians 1:16 - “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities all things were created through him and for him.”

God is the owner of all things visible and invisible,

All creation and life are created for the glory and name of God.

So, the person who gave the most material to God in human history was David.

They donated 5,000 talents of gold, 10,000 talents of silver, 18,000 talents of bronze, and 100,000 talents of iron.

But David, who gave such an enormous amount of money to God, said 1 Chronicles 29:14- “All things come from you, and what we received from your hand, we gave to you.” confessed.

He was willing to give to the Lord, confessing that everything he had came from the Lord.

We too must have stewardship before God so that we can receive the protection and guidance of the Lord God. Believe that all I have now is to be used for His glory and good works through me, and I hope that you will be praised as a good and faithful servant by devoting yourself to the Lord.

2. A person who is diligent before God is a loyal person.

Proverbs 6:6- “The lazy one says to the ant, let him see what he does, and be wise.”

What is the price of a diligent person to give God universal grace to all people? You said abundance.

But God tells the poor man to go to the ant and see what he does and get wisdom.

A loyal servant works hard to please his master, but an evil servant is lazy.

In verses 16 and 17, the servant who received the five talents and the two talents went immediately after receiving the talent and started trading.

In order for us to become saints who will not be rebuked by God for being evil and lazy,

Hearing the Word and receiving grace, we must not hide what we have received, and we must not delay or stop giving thanks.

When we are born again as saints, God wants us to be glorified through each of us.

Even if the talents I have received and possessed may seem small and not recognized by others, I hope that if you obey and serve God with diligent faith, you will be praised as a good and faithful servant of God, and believe that you can participate in God's joy.

3. A person who does his/her best in little things is a loyal person.

The person who can do many things is not the person who has much ability, but the person who is faithful in the little things.

It is foolish to think that you can accomplish many things while neglecting the few. Luke 16:10 “He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little is unrighteous also in much.” A person who neglects the little things while saying it will not be able to do the big things, but the person who neglects the small things will do the big things in life appropriately.

When Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea and grew up in Nazareth and then began his symbiosis, Jews and Pharisees at that time valued their righteousness and neglected Jesus.

What good can come out of Nazareth? While saying that, they focused only on rejecting and persecuting Jesus with their own reason and judgment, not trying to get to know him.

Because of this, not only did they fail to stand in the class of salvation, but they became people who were rebuked by the Lord.

In today's text, even those who received one talent did not realize the value of one talent because of their heart that they received something less than others, so they were abandoned by their master.

I hope that our members will believe in the fact that things that seem insignificant to people make great work.

If you are faithful in little things, you will be in charge of many things, and if you are faithful in little things, you will be in charge of big things.

In God's work, small and large works are not separated, but all are great works for the glory of God.

The things we should neglect in life are things that can lead to sin and evil, but the things that we should consider precious and important are things that are related to God by loving our own soul first.

If we faithfully carry out God-related tasks, God values us. I pray that you will become a saint who is praised by God by believing that He is not given, worshiping the Lord diligently with stewardship, and being faithful in small things.
