Title: Lust, fornication, adultery, these three are one
Contents
The truth says, “I tell you, everyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28).
There is flesh and blood, and there is lust; where there is lust, there is fornication; and where there is fornication, there is adultery. This is because all people were conceived of fornication and born into the world, out of lustful blood and flesh.
Therefore, the fleshly human beings are all fruitful and prosperous due to sexual immorality through lust. As the Bible testifies that “there was a fleshly body,” the fleshly body is the creation of darkness that is born through fornication. It is written, "The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and to those who sat in the land and shadow of death, light has shined." (Matthew 4:16) As it is testified, lust, fornication, and adultery are all works of darkness .
It is written, “The night is deep and the day is near; therefore let us put off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light” (Romans 13:12). ....” (Galatians 5:19).
Therefore, the first Adam is a physical one, and the last Adam is a spiritual one.
The natural are from below and the spiritual are from above. Therefore, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
The very existence of man is made up of lust and greed. The Bible calls sexual immorality “passion” and covetousness “desire” and it is written, “...with the flesh, its passions and desires....” (Galatians 5:24).
Already in the first Adam, who was born from below, “his passion and lust” were there. But before the eyes were opened, as it is written, "Adam and his wife were both naked, they were not ashamed" (Genesis 2:25). I did.
But after they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, following Satan's temptation to become like God, they said, "Then their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made skirts." (Gen. 3:7) As it is written, I hid my shameful lower body with a skirt.
This is where the work of darkness begins, and the fornication of man's fruitfulness and multiplication, and also adultery, which men consider a sin, abounded throughout the world.
It was in the providence that God first created such a disgraceful life in order to later give birth to the glorious children of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, the Bible testifies that Christ Jesus is “the last Adam” and is also a “spiritual body.”
Regarding this, the Bible says, “Put off the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, which after God was created in righteousness and holiness of truth” (Ephesians 4:4). 22-24) says:
Therefore, everyone who is born of a spiritual body, that is, God, has been circumcised in heart and has put off the old self, and has crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. It is written, “And in him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, that is, that you put off the physical body, which is the circumcision of Christ” (Colossians 2:11).
Therefore, from now on, the body of the circumcised people of Christ Jesus is not the body of the sin of fornication, but the holy and spiritual body of Christ. As it is written, “...the body is not for immorality, but the Lord, and the Lord is for the body” (1 Corinthians 6:13).
Regarding this, “Jesus said, ‘No one receives these words, but must be born’” (Matthew 19:11). Only those who were attached to Christ at the coming of Christ are those who have been sanctified by this truth. These are the children of God who do not have themselves, who offer whole burnt offerings to God with Christ and Jesus, and will also participate in the first resurrection. It is written, “Blessed and holy are those who have part in this first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Christ for a thousand years” (Revelation 20:6). They are also “royal priests.”
Who will please you? Also, who will serve the Lord? This is the one who follows the Lamb wherever he leads. The Lord Himself said, "If anyone wants to serve me, follow me; where I am, there will also be those who serve me; and if a man serves me, my Father will honor him" (John 12:26).
“Flee from fornication. Every sin a man commits is outside the body, but the fornicator sins against his own body” (1 Corinthians 6:18).
It is only the grace of the Lord that makes me who I am in all of this. Amen. And if you are led by the Spirit of Truth... Thank you, Lord.
