(Eph 4:13-16)
(…) 2009 was a disappointing and chaotic year as events such as the financial crisis, swine flu, and the Four Rivers Project were intertwined one after another. But we must not indulge in sentimental complaints about how fleeting our time is. In the new year, we need to embrace our vision and hope again. In order to prepare well for the new year, we need to reflect on the past and have realization. Faith growth always starts with the intellectual. That is to say, enlightenment. We meet various events, but we need the realization to accept them as God's will. If you have enlightenment, you need to grow in faith to accept it with your heart. The growth of faith warms the heart and enables us to overcome all doubts and weaknesses.(…) To grow in faith and become a full person, we need to set some goals.
① It is a promise to be faithful in the worship life.
(…) We obtain all the strength, wisdom, and power we need to grow in our faith through worship. Also, the first mark of a believer is a life of worship, and the highest goal of the church is to make people who love and worship God.(…) Finally, a life faithful to worship should be the most important goal of all believers .(…) In the new year, first of all, let us be faithful to our worship life.
②It is a life of something.
When the life of faith goes beyond the basic stage, the second hurdle will come. That is the duty of faith. The greatest duty among them is thing. Tithing is the will of God that transcends history and time, that is, it transcends the obligations of the law.(…) We hope that in the new year, we will grow our faith, gratitude, and joy through offerings.
③ It is a life of speaking well.
