Title: Make God's Grace a Grace

Contents The apostle Paul used the word 'grace' 101 times. The Bible is a book that talks about 530 kinds of grace. Indeed, the Bible is a book full of God's grace. Indeed, Christianity is a religion of ‘grace’ and God is the fountain of grace.

I. What is God's grace?

Example) Macbeth, the main character of 'Macbeth', one of the four great tragedies of William Shakespeare (1564-1616), killed the king and became king. He had a disease that made him want to wash his hands again and again. asked for help from a doctor. “The doctor can’t do anything. Heal yourself from your heart,” the king lamented. “Five! Does Arabian perfume not clean this one hand? Is there no oblivion agent to dig out of my heart?”

- Shakespeare said, "There is no human way to wash away and blot out sin." He wanted to say that there is nothing but the blood of Jesus Christ.

- Hymn 194:1 “Only the blood of Jesus can wash away my sins”

- God's grace is God's love

① Atonement through the blood of Jesus

② Restoration of relationship with God

③ Born into a new life

④ Living by faith

⑤ Comfort, encouragement, guidance, and protection with the word are also grace.

II. How to receive God's grace?

1. We must accept God's grace well.

- I must respond to God's hand of salvation.

2. We must long for God's grace.

Psalm 143:6 “I stretch out my hands toward you; my soul longs for you as on dry ground.”

3. The meek and humble receive favor.

Ex) Mark 4:1-9, Parable of the Sower

. How do you turn grace into grace?

Let's read verse 1. “… Do not receive God's grace in vain."

1. Cherish grace.

- The importance of grace

- Is there anyone who wants to take away your grace?

- Result of losing grace?

2. Be captivated by the thrill of grace

- Let's read verse 2. “… Now is the time to receive grace...”

ex) wailing in

3. Live a gracious life.

The apostle Paul strongly exhorts us as God's co-workers. “Do not receive God’s grace in vain” that is, “Let God’s grace become grace.” The way we live is God’s grace. Without grace, there will be nothing and no life.
