Human deeds/Proverbs 16:1-9
What do other people usually say when they see me?
“Jae is really good at lying, you liar.”
“Why are you so good at swearing, ahh, that swear word”
“Puppet”
“The chatter”
“Jesus”
I have many nicknames, but what other friends usually say when they see my actions is a mirror that reflects my original self.
I am that kind of person depending on what other people call me.
There is a day when I will be held accountable to God for whatever I do now.
Therefore, whatever we say, do or think, we must be honest, truthful and right.
Let's check my behavior by comparing two types of people to see what my behavior should be through the Bible verse we read today.
1. There are people who only know themselves (verse 2)
This man does not know God.
They think they are God and act like God.
There are people who are only smart, only they are good, only they are right, and there are people who do everything only by themselves. People who only know themselves, such people do not know God. Also, such a person is referred to as a proud person.
However, if you look into the hearts of people who only know themselves and say they are only good, they know better than others that they are insufficient and not honest, so they are always in pain and can't stand it. Guilt floods me
So I get nervous every day, fight well with other people, and swear.
People like this need not see the world through my own eyes, but see me through God's eyes.
2. There are people who entrust everything to God (verse 3).
Those who believe and depend only on God are the ones who please God the most.
If we usually do things that please God, we can become friends even with friends we used to see as enemies.
Whatever we do, if we believe in God and entrust all of our work to Him, He will solve everything for us and guide our path.
Children!!
In all our actions, first do our best to have a heart that loves God and a heart that pleases God.
When that happens, God gives us joy, peace, and contentment.
