If you look at today's text, you are teaching what is the most basic principle of human beings in the world of survival. That is the saying, 'Honor your father and mother'.
God has given us ten commandments, and commandments 1 through 4 are about God, and commandments 5 through 10 are about man.
As a human being, there must be a duty to God the Creator, a duty to the family, and a duty to society.
In the book of Ephesians, chapters 1 to 4 tell us what we should do to God as a saved person, chapters 5 to the beginning of chapter 6 talk about what we should do at home, and then in our social life. It mentions the rules to be followed.

1. It is to honor your parents.
This is my part in human relationships.

Just as the laws of nature cannot change, so can the moral laws.

Filial piety is the first of the moral laws and the first commandment with promise. Therefore, filial piety is the foundation of all morality and order.
Why is society so chaotic today, evil is so strong, injustice and lawlessness reign supreme, and why does the riot continue? Because the law of filial piety has been broken. As a result, the law broke down, the social order collapsed, and even the discipline of the military collapsed.

2. It is the duty of parents.

3. We must uphold the laws and order of society.
Society is a community. A community can exist only when it is for each other. In order to do this, it is necessary to observe the laws and order of the community.
When all citizens respect the laws of the country, observe the laws, and fulfill their duties as citizens, the nation's peace, order and prosperity will be achieved.
So today's text is primarily about the relationship between the employee and the employer. Ephesians 6:5 says, ?쏶ervants, obey your masters of the flesh with fear and trembling and with sincerity of heart, as to Christ.
What does it mean? Employers are meant to respect their employers. To maintain workplace order, employees must respect and obey their employers in good faith.
In fact, there are many things that go against my heart. However, if you think only human-to-human, you will be upset and you will not be able to handle it. That's why the Bible says, 'Do it as to the Lord.'
In other words, you should be grateful. In fact, it was the owner's consideration that gave me the opportunity to work. So, even if there are some inconveniences, you can handle them.

It means to treat your employees with humility. You must treat your subordinates with love with the attitude of a centurion who met Jesus. He never forgot that there was always a greater Master above him, God.

A ruler like this should always treat his employees with gratitude. In fact, you should know that you are a co-worker who helps me. Therefore, you should not always be in an assertive position.

To summarize so far, the foundation of all ethics is that it is established in the relationship with God and the relationship with parents. In other words, it is faith and obedience to God, and the next is filial piety to parents.
The Bible declares about blessings for filial piety and judgment for disobedience.
First, the blessing of filial piety is longevity and good luck.
Deuteronomy 5:16 says, ?쏦onor your father and mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and may be blessed in the land the LORD your God is giving you.??
The second is judgment against infidelity.
