Title: Man of Eden (Genesis 02:8-9)
Content God created the heavens and the earth and said that it was good. It is because you saw the beauty of the universe, a masterpiece of art. After God created the universe, he thought that he had to create something more. So I created a masterpiece more mysterious and beautiful than the universe. This is Adam (man). When God created man, he created male and female. After God created the universe and created man, Genesis 1:31 says, “God saw all that he had made, and he saw that it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.” And God created a garden for a man and a woman. That is the Garden of Eden. Tasty fruits are plentiful. In the mountains and hills birds sing and the beasts answer. Clear water flows in the river and fish swim and play. A place like this is heaven on earth. God made them live as a couple in this very garden. These people are the people of Eden and the founders of mankind. Today, when the true human image is lost, we want to restore the true human image and restore peace and happiness through life in the Garden of Eden.
1. Eden was a rich and pleasant life
The meaning of Eden is peace and pleasure. Various trees are abundant, and as the source of the four major rivers, the natural scenery is beautiful, so there is always peace. It is a place full of pleasure. Therefore, it was only a place where you could live freely and have a relationship with God. This was the original life of us humans. But it was lost because of sin. Therefore, without the redemption of Christ, we would not have been able to live this life of peace again, but we can restore this life with the love of God. It is a life that accepts Christ.
2. Eden is a place of freedom and faith
3. It was a life with the glory of God
The people of Eden do not know lies. No cheats. Thinking truthfully, speaking truthfully, and making truth a philosophy of life. The people of Eden were people who had a sincere heart for God, true love when dealing with people, and a sincere and generous life when dealing with nature. When we lose true faith, we are driven out of Eden, and when we lose true love, we hate each other. The British poet Arnold Toynbee, in his conclusion of the study of human history, said that people who have accomplished great things on earth must have three common elements. The first is strong unity, the second is vigorous activity, and the third is true national character. A false nationality cannot contribute to human history. Because the man of Eden was sincere, glory became his garment, and he was naked, but he was not ashamed. When we lose this glory to our believers, only our faults are shown and we only slander each other. But when God's glory is there, all our transgressions are covered.
4. It was a life of temperance and hard work
