Title: Man of the Holy Spirit

Romans 7:21-8:2 '21. Therefore I understand a law, that evil is present with me, who desire to do good, 22. In my inner being, I delight in the law of God, 23. Another law in my members fights against the law of my heart. I see myself captive by the law of sin that is in my members, 24 O wretched man I am, who will deliver me from this body of death 25 I will give thanks to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. serves the law of God in the flesh, the law of sin, 8:1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is the law of sin and death. I have set you free from '- Amen.
This text is very important for understanding the identity of a Christian. Paul received a special call from the Lord and was filled with the Holy Spirit.
I see that even though I played the role of the Way, sin occurred and I was tormented by the conflict of conscience as a saint. But we can see his confidence in breaking free from the conflict of sin while praising the grace of God who saved him in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Some scholars say that Paul's conflicting story in this text is a philosophical argument about the self in the past outside of Christ, but it is not.
Paul was already regenerated by the Holy Spirit and was a partaker of the salvation of grace.
The group called the Salvation Sect says that if you become a believer in Jesus, you do not need the Lord's Prayer because you are innocent, or that they claim that the saints are innocent and have no sin, it is a very unconscionable and unbiblical philosophy of the devil.
1. A person of value change
Those who have been regenerated through faith in Jesus and become saints in the Holy Spirit are those who have undergone a total change in the value of their lives. Those who have experienced changes in the view of history, the universe, and the view of life
Romans 7:21 “Therefore, I understand a law, that evil is present with me, who desire to do good.”
I realized that the word heuristic (EuJrivskw) means scientifically confirmed through tests, investigations, and observations. As a result, you will have amazing judgment to distinguish the worldly and God's will. In that sense,
1 Corinthians 2:15 “The spiritual person judges all things, but he himself is judged by no one.”
Those who have realized that it is right to judge the world based on the knowledge of God's thoughts.
Proverbs 1:7 'The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge...'
There is a qualitative change in the hope you see.
Galatians 5:5 'By faith in the Holy Spirit we wait for the hope of righteousness.' What is that hope?
2 Corinthians 4:18 'It is not the things that are seen that we pay attention to, but the things that are not seen... For the things unseen are eternal.
If you are a true believer who has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit, your values and ideology will change in all fields, and your understanding and handling attitude will change.
It is to judge, treat, and discuss the value of things, society, culture, and art according to God's will.
2. Conflict
Paul and all the saints have become a new self through the Lord Jesus, but as we live, our sinful nature arises and our inner self experiences conflict.
Because we have the Holy Spirit in us, as those who have become holy temples, when we are challenged to the worldly principles, we become conflicted and suffer.
1 Corinthians 3:16 “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”
If I say I believe in Jesus and never have, then that person is lying.
1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
It tells us that even a saint cannot be completely liberated from his nature, even though he has obtained a new spiritual being by the grace of God. It is only when we honestly acknowledge this point that we can receive the grace of God that allows us to overcome it again like Paul.
Romans 7:22-23 “In my inner man I delight in the law of God, 23. I see another law in my members wrestling with the law of my heart, and taking me captive by the law of sin that is in my members. You must have a feeling to be a true person of the Holy Spirit.
A person of the Holy Spirit fasts every day and prays without doing anything, so his spiritual eyes are bright and he does not feel any sin. The sinful nature of man, latent in his nature, is always revived, and the devil also deceives spiritually from inside and out. It is difficult to live fully according to God's law. not an angel
There are several words for sin. In the Bible, sin usually means things that are not right with God. The sin referred to here is hamaltia (aJmartiva), which is not abstract or doctrinal, but refers to a sinful image of a human who intentionally expresses a crime. Even those who have received the Holy Spirit and become saints must honestly confirm these facts and become painful things on their own.
Galatians 5:17 “The lust of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit is against the flesh, because these two oppose each other, so that you cannot do what you want.” So Paul said, 1 Corinthians 15:31 “Brothers… I I die every day'
3. Those who overcome by the law of the Holy Spirit
No matter how much education you have, you cannot be freed from sin by judging people based on the values of Eastern ethics or Jewish legalism. It was said that the law had the function of making people know that life is a sin.
Romans 3:20 “Therefore, by the works of the law no flesh was justified before him, by the law the knowledge of sin.”
We should be thankful for the fact that the Lord Jesus died on the cross not only for original sin, but also for Paul and our common sins that we now struggle with.
Text Romans 7:25 'I give thanks to God through our Lord Jesus Christ' And then Romans 8:1 'There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus'
However, the important thing is that if you only know the principle that Jesus saved you, you will not feel free from sin. Jesuits do not tell you what is right or wrong, but what is right in the Holy Spirit, that is, you must fulfill the blessing of God’s new righteousness through Jesus Christ.
Doctrine alone does not lighten the burden of sin. Paul also rejoiced in God's law, but he continued to suffer. It is only through the law of the Holy Spirit that is given in Jesus Christ that we can escape from the curse of the law, which is judged by the commonality of sin.
Text Romans 8:2 'For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.' Therefore, the self suffering from sin must be healed by the influence of the Holy Spirit. It is not just a doctrine or a principle. The important thing is that, like Paul, you need to have a serious conflict about the sin that happens to you, in order to come up with a solution.
2 Corinthians 7:10 “Godly sorrow produces repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly sorrow produces death.”
Not everyone who goes to church is a member of God. Even among church members, some people who commit suicide and come to church saying they believe in God pray to keep their secular jobs as religious people and to receive blessings from sinful worldly things.
Such a person does not have spiritual resuscitation and does not change his or her values. If you make a mistake in your religious life, you may lead a life that is worse than that of a non-believer. you won't be able to.
It is said that those who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit are the saints, the saints are those who are guided by the Holy Spirit, and the saints are those who can resolve all conflicts in the Holy Spirit. Christian believers are those who believe in Jesus and receive God's covenant to set us free from sin. This wonderful grace is worked by the Holy Spirit.
Those who live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit are practical saints. Without the rich work and influence of the Holy Spirit, you cannot live with God's grace.
I bless you and me who can be freed from sin and free from all blockages only through the influence of the Holy Spirit.
