I think the motto of China Network, “No Title, No Glory,” is a very appropriate modern missionary motto. This is because most of the missions of the Korean churches pay too much attention to their name and their honor. And because it's so dominant and driven. This is because there is a strong tendency to deny, ignore, teach, and dominate others rather than to acknowledge, respect, and serve others. Dr. John Stott once pointed out that Mark 10:45 is the best expression of the life and ministry of Jesus. “For the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.” Serving, giving, and dying are the center and purpose of missions, but our mission does not seem to be the case.
Of course, we should not fall into the humanism or religious pluralism of any religion, any culture, any person and everyone is right. However, the Lord who wants to embrace and love everyone with a changed heart, eyes and ears, realizing the solemn fact that people of any religion, any culture, and any political circle are noble, good, and beautiful beings who live in the image of God that has not yet been completely destroyed. May we all have the desire to come close with our hearts, eyes, and ears to live with them, play with them, and serve them.
