Title: Marriage to Christ 1

Description Marriage with Christ 1 (Hos 1:1-10)

In the Bible, Jesus is called the bridegroom and you and I are called the bride. Based on what theology does Jesus become the bridegroom and we become the bride? In Genesis 2:18-20, God created the first man, Adam, and made Eve from his rib, and united the two to become one flesh. When God created man, why did he put Adam into a deep sleep and then remove his rib and create Eve? Why did you unite these two to become one body again? According to Romans 5:14, Adam is a type of Jesus Christ as a symbol of the one to come. When God created Adam, he already had Jesus in mind when he created Adam. In Ephesians 5:20 and below, the relationship between husband and wife and the church is well explained. In verse 32, it is said, “This mystery is great.” Because Ephesians is not just talking about the marital problem, it is talking about Jesus Christ, the type of man, and the church, the type of the bride. So, Adam is Jesus, and Eve is the saint! The secret of Jesus becoming the bridegroom and us being the bride was already designed by God when he created man.

Why did Eve come out when Adam fell asleep? Adam's "sleep" signifies the death of Christ. that Jesus died on the cross. Why does Eve come out of Adam's rib? When Adam fell asleep, he pulled out the ribs and made Eve foreshadowing the death of Jesus on the cross. By the death of Jesus, we too became his bride, the church, through the blood, that is, the water and blood that flowed from the side of Jesus. This is what God created from the beginning, Jesus as the groom and us as the bride were designed from the beginning. This theology is the theology of Lloyd-Jones.

Likewise, it is also illegal for Jesus to marry lustful Israel. Nevertheless, God could not forsake God's chosen people. Before we were spiritually married to Jesus Christ, we were already fallen brides, and even after we became the brides of Jesus Christ, we still loved the world and lived and gave birth to illegitimate children of the world. Even though we were all cheating brides, Jesus waited patiently for us. This is the heart of Jesus. The story of the book of Hosea is not the story of Hosea and Gomer, but my story today. Also, what Gomer's three siblings had in common was that none of them had any children resembling Hosea, and they were the children of fornication. God himself gave them names, and the names of these children (Jezreel, Loruhama, and Loammi) are God's words of warning and warning toward the lewd people.

So, how should we live now? “I said to him, 'Stay with me many days, and do not commit fornication, or follow another man, and I will do the same to you'” (Hosea 3:3) I will forgive all the sins of the past! Love me from now on, I'll love you too! Please listen to the sad voice of Jesus. From now on, I pray in the name of Jesus that you will love only the bridegroom Jesus, and live happily while producing the spiritual children of the bridegroom Jesus who are no longer children of sexual immorality.
