07:01-13
Introduction>****************************************************
The pain of love made the relationship between the two lovers stronger due to the bride's delicate sensitivity and the groom's sincere affection (6:4-14). (verses 1-5) and thrill (verses 6-9). In response, the bride invites the groom to her dream hometown while confessing her love more deeply (verses 10-13). Through this process, the love between the couple develops to a more complete stage. In the humble hometown of Shulammi, where their love began, the two develop a deeper bond and enjoy a fullness of joy.
Bon Law>****************************************************
Today, I want to receive grace while examining the perfect (mature) love between husband and wife.
First: The relationship between the groom and the bride has now reached the point of perfect unity (verse 10). The Shulammite woman said in 2:16, which corresponds to the beginning of love, 'My beloved belongs to me, and I belong to him. It was,' he said. However, in 6:3, where love has deepened, the order is reversed and expressed, “I belong to my beloved, and my beloved belongs to me,” showing a pattern of thinking centered on the other person rather than self-centered. Through this respect, the couple can become more united. But when we get to this chapter, we go beyond the stage of self-denial and say, “He longs for me” (verse 10), revealing complete trust and oneness. From the above, it can be seen that the relationship between Solomon and the Shulammite gradually matured. Likewise, as time goes by, the saints will have to become more one with Christ through the life of denying themselves and taking up the cross.
Second: The bride wanted to go to a simple country country in order to have full communion with the groom she longs for (verse 11). This fact shows that when love matures, inevitably, two people yearn for only companionship. Likewise, in order to maintain a deep relationship with the Bridegroom Christ, the believer should take time to fellowship with Him through the Word and prayer. Time in fellowship with Christ is more valuable than formal worship, expensive gifts, or grand services. It should be borne in mind that when Jesus chose his twelve disciples, his first purpose was to be with him.
Third: The bride prefers the hometown village with the groom more than the glorious life of the palace (verses 11-12). All human beings, by nature, have a tendency to long for and pursue a luxurious and prosperous life. The Shulammite woman, on the other hand, wanted to return to the countryside surrounded by vines and gardens. A woman dreams of getting rid of all cumbersome forms and enjoying a rural life with her husband in a natural state. Likewise, believers can possess the kingdom of heaven when they cast off worldly cares and worries and focus only on Jesus.
Conclusion>****************************************************
The two developed a deeper relationship, and as they focused on each other, they had a pure and pure love. Thus, as children of God, we must come to Christ with holy zeal and purity.
