1. Looking back on your life so far (= Organize your past life)
Verse 63: “Isaac went out to the field at evening to meditate… ”
“Isaac went out to the field at evening to meditate… ”
2. Preparation and prayer of the mind to welcome the bride (= preparation of the mind for the future)
Verse 63: “As it was evening, Isaac went out into the field to meditate, and he looked up and saw camels coming.”
Verse 61: “Rebekah got up and followed the man on camels with the female servants, and the servant took Rebekah with her.”
Verses 64-65: “Rebekah lifted her eyes and looked at Isaac, and she got off her camel and said to the servant, “Who is this who came to us while he was wandering in the field?” The servant said to him, “This is my master. ”
3. Preparation and prayer of the heart to inherit the life of the father Abraham (= preparation for the succession of the blessings of the covenant)
62-63 = “In those days Isaac came from Beer-lahai-roi, and he dwelt in the region of the Negev.
‘Beer-lahai-roi’ = ‘the well of the living and watcher’
“At that time Isaac came from Beer-lahai-roi.”
