Title [4.2] Meeting that Changes Destiny
Content M
(Acts 9: 1-22)
We live in countless encounters throughout our lives. There are happy and good encounters, but there are also gloomy and bad encounters. Among them, the most precious encounter in our life is the ‘meeting with Jesus’.
In the text, when Saul was a young man, he had nothing to envy. As a Roman citizen, he enjoyed many privileges and was an academically outstanding figure of his time. What Saul did with such zeal was persecution of those who believed in Jesus. His zeal, which went all the way to catch those who believed in Jesus, was wrong. They thought that God's will was to persecute the people who believed in Jesus. It was full of false thoughts and zeal. The zeal that everyone shines with is more and more damaging to oneself. It is important to live hard, but you need to think about whether you are going in the right direction.
But God is a God of justice. No matter how bad a person is, he gives them a chance. You have given me a chance to repent. That opportunity was when Saul passed through Damascus, and he met Saul as a light and a voice. Saul met Jesus, and at that moment, Saul, who was persecuting Jesus, was transformed into Paul who preached Jesus.
After meeting Jesus, Saul's life was completely changed. He has become a person who carries out the mission of the Gentiles. I met Jesus and my life was changed. It has turned into a worthwhile life. We believe that the Lord who visited Saul's life field will also come to our lives today. I hope that you will believe that meeting Jesus Christ is more blessed than any other encounter in the world.
Next is the meeting with the co-workers of faith.
God tells Ananias that Saul will meet Jesus in Damascus and that he will be greatly used for Jesus. He knew Saul, who was well known for persecuting those who believed in Jesus, and an encounter with Saul could be dangerous for him, but Ainnia obeys God's word and lays his hands on him to open his eyes. They will also help you with your recovery.
Saul, who met Jesus and was changed and performed God's great work, met Jesus and also met a true co-worker, a man of God, so that he could become a person of blessing. I hope that you will also have such true co-workers of faith.
I pray in the name of the Lord that Jesus will change our lives in our lives and that you will be living a blessed life together with fellow believers.
