Title: Miracle of Forgiveness

miracle of forgiveness

Col 3:12-14

“Therefore, as God’s chosen, holy and beloved ones, clothe yourself with mercy, mercy, humility, gentleness, and longsuffering; forgiving one another and forgiving one another against anyone against whom the Lord has forgiven you, as the Lord has forgiven you, and all these things. Add love above things, which is the perfect sash."

‘Let each one submit to the powers above… All authority is ordained by God, therefore whoever resists authority is against the commandment of God, and those who resist will bring their own judgment” (Romans 13:1-2).

I've come to realize that I've never tried to acknowledge the authority of any of my superiors. Whether they are right or wrong, I have made the mistake of not submitting to the authority above me that God has granted me. There was a military law meeting on the same Saturday that I was diagnosed with an incurable disease. I also wanted to kill the people who trampled my life on the ground. But I am determined to submit to the authority of God's Word. I testified at a military law conference that I would forgive those who harmed me… .”

As she shared her experiences, Ja-Ram Park wept freely. “During worship, I really wanted to praise… .

God is the one who protects you... .

An unbearable squeaking noise pierced my ears. But at that moment, his voice suddenly opened up, and praises burst out loudly. A miracle happened. If we look at the Word every day and experience God's love, we can obey any authority, and we can forgive and love anyone. To do good by obeying the Word is the authority the Lord has given us.

“Servants, submit to your masters with fear in all things, not only to the good and tolerant, but also to the demanding ones. It is beautiful to endure sorrow by thinking of God even though you suffer vaguely. But if you suffer for doing good and endure it, this is beautiful in the sight of God.” (1 Peter 2:18-20)

The Bible says

“If you forgive others your sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you” (Mark 3:28).

“When you stand and pray, forgive anyone you have any accusation against, and your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions” (Mark 11:25).

Forgiveness is indeed difficult. But for believers, this is by no means an option, but an essentiality. Then what are the blessings that come to those who forgive?

First, forgiveness begins a new life.

Second, if you forgive, you will receive answers to your prayers.

Third, if you forgive, you will receive the grace of healing. Forgive the sins of the husband, the sins of the wives, the sins of the parents, the sins of the children, the brothers, the neighbors and the saints. And forgiveness is not about procrastinating. Forgive today now. Forgive, but be all-forgiving. Then, I believe that you will experience the true freedom, answers to prayers, and the grace of healing that the Lord gives you.

Andrea's grandmother from Switzerland became a lonely old man who hated the world and fought with neighbors after the death of her beloved husband. A friend who saw her crooked gave her a book about forgiveness. She was very impressed while reading the book. She forgave those who had hurt her, and she wrote to those she had hurt, asking for forgiveness. A heart filled with anger was filled with love and joy. After this change, the neighbors called her ‘Happy’. At the age of 88, Happy Grandmother flew through the skies on a hang glider over the summit of the Alps and became the cover of a French magazine. Three years later, he took a small airplane and flew over a rugged mountain valley, surprising the world. Before his death, he dedicated his entire fortune to the church and society, surprising the people around him. Indeed, forgiveness is a medicine that changes people.

Forgiveness has miraculous power. When you forgive, everything changes. There is no medicine that heals your inner wounds better than forgiveness. It brings joy to the heart of sorrow, peace where there is conflict, love springs up where there is anger. To do this, we must first admit honestly that we are imperfect. We must always confess to ourselves that we are erroneous, hurtful, and sometimes selfish, unkind, and uncaring. We are always at war with pride, struggle with fear, and struggle with not being able to love. When we acknowledge our shortcomings, we can be patient with others and experience the miracle of forgiveness. If you learn to forgive, you can live in deep inner peace and freedom. Who have you forgiven today?

* Prayer: Loving Heavenly Father, give me a heart to forgive everyone who has hurt me in my life. Overcome the feeling of revenge. Make me yearn for love. Help me to love even my enemies with the warmth of the cross. Help me to practice love by the power of the Lord. I pray in the merciful name of Jesus. Amen.
