Title: Miracles and Faith (Luke 16:19-31)

Contents

It is a slang term that is not in the word “Saint-Pierism”, but it means a lifetime. People often call this a miracle. The dictionary says that a miracle is a strange fact that cannot be conceived by the human head. But with God there are no miracles. Miracles are supernatural, not unnatural. There are two common misconceptions about miracles.

The first is the belief that there are no miracles in the scientific age by ignoring miracles, and the second is that we depend only on miracles. There are three eras with many miracles in the Bible: the age of Moses, Elisha and Elijah, and the age of Jesus and the apostles. Many miracles occurred in these three eras because they were in a crisis situation that could not be propagated without miracles.

1. What is a miracle?

Supernatural phenomena that deviate from the laws of nature are called miracles. In the Bible, the term is called a miracle, a miracle, or a sign, but a miracle is not an end in itself, but a miracle to convey the meaning of something else. A miracle is not a destruction of natural law, not a psychological phenomenon, nor a lack of scientific knowledge. A miracle is not a supernatural force or phenomenon, but a sign of God's grace and love, and a means of God's revelation. Therefore, miracles are not the end in themselves, but the end of salvation and the revelation of God.

2. The purpose of miracles is to grow in faith.

Modern society evaluates content based on the status quo or appearance. So is belief. Consider the belief as a phenomenon and evaluate the belief. This is what false phenomenal religion looks like. Mysticism is based on the mystical experience of human beings, and the mystical experience is centered on human experience. It is for this reason that many of the leaders based on the phenomenal miracle of mysticism have disappeared. The miracles of Jesus were to reveal that Jesus was the Messiah.

The two miracles of Jesus are the natural miracle, which shows that he is the Creator, and the miracle of healing, which shows that he is the Redeemer.

But at the end of the miracle, He says, "Faith has saved me; go in peace." This is speaking of the way of salvation through faith rather than the miracle itself. Also, Jesus does not perform miracles for himself. He told him to come down from the cross, but he did not come down. Many of your people may be surprised if you come down, but you are no savior.

3. Miracles become faith through the Word.

Mark 16:20 says, “As the disciples went out and preached throughout, the Lord worked with them, and by the signs that followed, they bore witness to the word.” Miracles are tools that confirm the Word and ultimately increase faith. It is not the phenomenon of miracles that is important, but whether you believe the Word or not. The present age is the age of the Word of God, the Word is the only revelation, and the Word is a miracle. In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, it is said, “If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead. Those who do not believe in the Word do not believe in miracles. Those who believe in the Word also believe in miracles. Miracles still happen today. Let's believe in miracles through the Word and become our lives living in miracles every day
