Title: Miracles Have Timing / Mark 2:1-11
Contents
In our lifetime, we encounter many events that we cannot control on our own. What you need in that moment is a miracle.
A miracle is something that only God can do that cannot be done by human strength or common sense. There is no gratitude for what a person has achieved through sweat and effort. However, the moment we realize that God has miraculously accomplished what we cannot do on our own, we become grateful, praised, and humble. We seek God only when we come to an environment in which a miracle is absolutely necessary. So God humbles us and leads us to circumstances that sometimes require miracles to draw us closer to God.
However, not everyone is the hero of this miracle. Even miracles have timing. Don't miss that timing. Today, the Bible teaches us the principle of realizing the timing of miracles given to us and experiencing them.
1. You must believe that miracles will happen to you.
In the text, there are four friends who brought a paralyzed man to Jesus while lying on a bed. There was a belief in their hearts that if they just took this friend to Jesus, they would be healed. Seeing their faith, Jesus healed the paralytic.
Dear brothers and sisters, I hope that God's miracle will happen to me today. Those who do not expect anything, do not believe, do not dream, or pray, do not hold onto the timing of miracles. The moment when a miracle is believed is the timing of the miracle.
2. The timing of a miracle is when you are in a situation that requires a miracle.
Are you in a situation where you desperately need God's miracles? An incurable disease, a business problem, a child's problem, etc. Doesn't it go the way you think? If so, please believe in that environment, that time is the right time to show God's miracles.
For Daniel, the dangerous environment thrown into the lions' den was the time to experience God's miracle. For Moses, it was the right time for the Red Sea to block the way and the Egyptian army to follow God's miracles. The moment when the paralytic was suffering from an illness was the time to experience God's miracle.
If you are in hardship, trial, pain, or suffering, please believe that now is the time for God's miracles to appear. Now let's change our thinking. If you have said that it is a time of hardship, frustration, and suffering, from now on, “Now is the time for the miracle of God to appear!” So confess. Hallelujah!
3. The moment of challenge is the timing of a miracle.
Miracles belong to those who challenge themselves. The moment of challenge is the moment of miracle. Everyone expects a safe and comfortable life. Rather than taking on a challenge, I try to settle for reality. However, the 1% who challenge themselves become CEOs, CEOs, and leaders. A person who does not challenge and lives an easy and ordinary life can never become a leader. I bless all the saints to be raised as world leaders who will lead this era.
Peter has had thick bones in the sea since he was young, and he is an expert in fishing. Then one day, he lowered his nets all night, but returned with an empty boat without catching any fish. When Jesus saw this, he said, “Go into the deep and let down your nets.” According to Peter's own experience, on a bright sunny day, if you lower your net into the depths, you will never catch a fish. However, we rely on and obey the words of Jesus. challenge. As a result, they caught enough fish to submerge twice. A miracle happened.
Dear brothers and sisters, the moment you believe in the Word and challenge yourself, miracles will happen to you. The moment of challenge is the timing of a miracle. It doesn't matter what your circumstances, your age, your knowledge, or your wealth. Be obedient to God's Word. Challenge yourself. I believe that God's miracle will happen to all of you who take the challenge. Amen!
4. The moment of doing your best and not giving up is the timing of a miracle.
It's important to never give up on anything. Look at the friends who brought the paralytic. There were so many people gathered that it was impossible to take him to Jesus, but he did not give up. Even through the roof, he runs down the friend in front of Jesus.
The moment of never giving up and doing your best is the moment of miracle. It is wrong to expect miracles while doing nothing. It would be wrong to expect miracles to happen in my life without praying, without valuing worship, without faithfully fulfilling my mission. Heaven belongs to the violent. Aggression means doing your best with passion. Don't use the word give up (抛棄). Giving up is a word used only when counting Chinese cabbage.
Dear brothers and sisters, I hope that a miracle will happen to all of you who listen to the Word at this hour today. First of all, believe that miracles happen to me too. If you are in trouble right now, believe and be thankful that this moment is the right time for God's miracles to happen. And challenge yourself. Do your best. Do not give up. I bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you will be the heroes of miracles in the coming 2012.
