Title: Misjudgment / Proverbs 24:23-34
--Today, it is said that it is a society in which it is difficult to find true justice as social justice is degraded as much as it is. It feels like the world has become a world where people who try to live an honest life are harmed and those who practice lawlessness are rather active.
However, these days, when the Kim Young-sam government came into office, it seems to put justice in the first place, and there are a lot of things happening that make everyone feel equal before the law.
Today's text is about ethics and common sense when judging.
However, the trial does not only refer to the trial in the courts of the world, but rather refers to the trial in the ethical aspect of life that we feel and practice in our daily lives.
In other words, it means that our life itself is judged before God, and when we live in this world with such a heart, we will be able to live a brighter life.
So, which trial is wrong?
####
Verse 23...< These are also the words of the wise. It is not lawful to show a face in judgment.>
It is a sin to judge a person by looking at them.
We are committing such a great sin. It is said that we cannot treat people with so-called backgrounds rudely, and it is wrong to treat people who have what they have or who do not have a background.
A person cannot be judged by what he has. All are equal before the Lord.
Leviticus 19:15 "When you judge, do not do injustice, do not take sides with the poor, do not be proud of the mighty, but judge people with justice..."
--Let's get it right Everyone should be treated equally.
##### 2. Failing to point out wrongdoings to the wicked is wrong judgment
Verses 24-25...< Whoever says yes to the wicked will be cursed by the people and hated by the people, but those who reprove him will find joy and good blessings.>
--We must point out and advise those who do evil.
Those who flatter wealth and flatter power will not be able to withstand God's judgment.
We must become people who know that God is scary.
##### 3. A trial that does not tell the truth is a wrong trial
Verses 26-28...< An answer with an appropriate word is like a kiss. Rule your work outside, prepare it in the field, and then build your house. Thou shalt not be a witness against thy neighbor without cause, and thou shalt not deceive with thy lips. You shall not say that I will do to him as he has done to me, and I will repay him for what he has done.”
You must be able to say the right thing.
Let us live the right life.
