Title: Moses' Disobedience 20.hwp
1. Moses' disobedience (1-13)
A person's fate can be surprisingly changed by some unexpected event.
The important thing for us believers is that the center is always at the center even in the face of sudden changes or events.
It must be directed toward God.
Otherwise, it is easy to make mistakes that are easy to make mistakes.
The text shows the strange appearance of Moses, who was completely faithful as a servant of all God's house, disobeying God.
1) Moses was attacked by the congregation
It tells us that the human heart is so deceitful that it is not truly reliable. We can see through the people of Israel, who oppose Moses, the corrupt human nature of being like a gentle sheep in an easy environment, but turning into an angry wolf when faced with adversity or hardship. They put Moses in a very difficult situation because there was no water.
2) Moses disobeyed Jehovah
This was an act of unbelief due to Moses' extreme anger. Pastors should not quarrel with people.
2. Take a long detour (14-21)
When anyone wants to move toward a certain goal or destination, there is no detour,
I want to go on a flat road. But that's not how you want it to be. Those who do the Lord's work should keep in mind that sometimes there are more detours than shortcuts, and they should not rush with human thoughts. God delights in doing things in order.
1) The king of Edom rejected Moses' request
The king of Edom rejected Moses' request and strengthened the defense of the army.
As such, our planning often runs into some obstacles.
Moses realized that this was not God's will and turned around.
3. Aaron's Death
(Hebrews 9:27) It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.
Therefore, people should be well prepared for death.
A holy life, that is, a life that follows the will of the Lord, is a life that prepares for death.
Even if Aaron died, his priesthood continued. In this way, God's work does not stop.
We must honor God's office and be faithful.
Those who are faithful are rewarded and praised.
