Title: Moses Meets God

Exodus 3:1 - Exodus 3:10
The weather is very hot. The more we do this, the more we want to receive the grace of God's Word and gain strength in spirit and body. When it comes to Moses, it is a well-known figure to everyone from young Sunday students, and Moses' miracle of the Red Sea is an event that is often cited and talked about by ordinary people. Many miracles and miracles did not leave Moses, whether it was the miracle of Moses at the Red Sea, the act of bringing water from the rock to feed, the passing of the Ten Commandments from Mt. Today is a historic moment when you face the God who performed miracles for the first time.
As we know, Moses lived in Pharaoh's palace for 40 years. Although he lived as a prince of Pharaoh, he was led into the wilderness with a burning passion and affection for his fellow countrymen, and took care of the daughters of Reuel, who fed the flocks. He married Zipporah and gave birth to a son named Gershom.
In today's text, it is written that she takes care of Reuel's flock. Instead of becoming a commissioned shepherd, he became a shepherd who watches over the sheep every day. I became a shepherd who looked every day for hungry sheep, sick sheep, and stray sheep. Transformed into a faithful shepherd who blocks the cold at night, leads him to the waters to drink from the heat during the day, and protects wolves and wolves, Moses has already been transformed into a loving shepherd watching the sheep.
When God, our true shepherd, protects us, he guards us as meticulously as Moses looked after the sheep. As David expresses it very well in Psalm 23, we are led by the True Shepherd Jesus, and we live on pasture. Moses did not lead his own flock, but was the one who took charge of Reuel's flock to feed and lead it. As Moses was a delegated steward in this expression, I know that all Christians on this earth must keep in mind that they are entrusted with God to work at work, at home, and in the church.
It is a process in which God prepares Moses to evoke a sense of duty and remind Israel of the threat of wolves and wolves through training Moses to guard the sheep in the wilderness. Israel before Pharaoh's tyranny is no different than an innocent sheep before a wolf. You never know when the wolf will catch you. Moses is the brave shepherd who kills the wolf and rescues the sheep. The ferocious wolf is a hardy wolf who, at every moment of every day, tries to the end to kill the sheep by preying on the shepherd's crevices. It is a strong enemy that fights to the end even if it takes damage.
God worked hard to save the lives of the sheep by raising Moses, but Pharaoh was the one who tried to persecute and kill Moses and Israel for himself, his honor, and himself. As we well know, Pharaoh's stubbornness, Pharaoh's stubbornness, lies, and toughness were the messengers of evil that believers should avoid and overcome with good. Moses witnessed countless times in the wilderness where hungry wolves were pitching their camps for prey, and he must have experienced moments of salvation where he had to work hard to save the sheep without sleeping. God threw Moses into the school in the wilderness, a learning place to save such a life, and now the time has come when he reveals himself to present a clear mission to him.
Today, Moses came to the bush to receive a mission for the glory of God with the passion, affection, and repeated love that God gave him. This bush symbolizes Jesus and the church. This insignificant tree in the wilderness rolls alone and burns with fire. For unbelievers, Jesus may be a common voice, a boring voice, a voice they don't want to hear, a sight they don't want to see anymore.
But today, this tree does not burn and is giving out fire. He is lighting a fire that will burn others without burning himself. The Church and Jesus are like this. Because it has already sacrificed for all and has been fully dedicated to God, it is now emitting a light to illuminate the sins of the world, burning a flame that burns sin, looking insignificant and likely to collapse easily, but it is a strong city, a rock, and a city that moves forward without wavering.
Like the lyrics of Martin Luther's hymn, My Lord is a strong city, it is a strong rock, a strong city, and the ark of salvation. I am burning with love, trust, and faith in Jesus. We are lighting the fire of the Holy Spirit. Everyone who comes to the church burns with evangelism about the God of salvation and His love who rescued their souls like Jeremiah's unbearable spirit like a fire bat.
As if to bring Moses closer, the red cross of the church has power. There is mystery. It has the power to save lives, so it stimulates the souls of souls and invites them to come out. Like Jesus, who was the cornerstone of the road, the bush swept here and there in the wilderness with the dry wind is the outward appearance of our Lord Jesus. it's a tree.
The abandoned stone became the foundation stone, and the bush that had to be burned with ashes became a fireball in Moses' heart, soul, heart, and thoughts, arousing the great mission of national salvation and the escape from Egypt.
It's the same with him. Although we were in the midst of this nation's ashes, a new fireball was created in the hearts of our people through the words of God from the missionaries. Churches and schools grew and flourished. The world has achieved an astonishing economic power.
Like Moses who met God through the bush, we meet God through faith in Jesus, and we not only set the purpose and direction of our life correctly, but also live the glorious life of God and live as valuable beings. The church and the nation are to light the fire by believing in Jesus with one heart, to burn sin and to drive out the darkness.
