Title: My God

A candidate gave a speech after seeing the villagers.
“Everyone, if I am elected this time, I will build a bridge in this town.”
Then someone said, "There is no river in our town." Then this candidate said, "Then I will make a river."
It's a funny story. As iron is iron, various promises are made too much. When has that promise been put into practice? But when the time comes, improbable promises are repeatedly spit out here and there.
However, the promises of God do not go bankrupt. Even if the world splits into two pieces, only these words will come true. It's a practice, it's a promise.
First, in verse 14 and below, "God said, Because he loves me, I will deliver him."
Someone was drowning and was struggling. As the monk passed by, he saw it and knocked on the wooden table, saying, "What sin have you committed in your past life that has caused you to suffer this suffering? Next time, a Confucian student from a hyanggyo passed by, took a book out of his bag, explained warm-up exercises and artificial respiration before swimming, and then left. Then, a Christian believer in Jesus came and saw him, and did not just pass by. He went to the town, got a strong rope, and threw it to save the man.
Our Christianity is a religion that saves and rescues. He does not rescue anyone, but “the one who loves me,” that is, the one who cries out for his life. Those who just fall silently will not be spared.
To love here means those who keep God's commandments, those who lead a life free from evil, those who are zealous for God's work, and those who do not love the world.
Second, he said, "He will know my name, so I will exalt him."
The word 'know' in 'know the name' is the Greek word 'ginoskosin'. This does not mean that when you say 'who', you know 'who is the father of', but a man and a woman who are unfamiliar meet and set the example of a married couple and live together for the rest of their lives. It speaks of the relationship between the villagers and the profound knowledge that men know women and women know men. When we know the Lord that way, the Lord exalts us.
Third, in verse 15 it says, “He will call upon me, and I will answer.” When we ask, God gives us answers. This is prayer. If you stop praying, your soul dies. Prayer is the breath of the soul. Prayer is the lifeline of the saints. Just as a fetus receives nourishment through a mother's milk line, the saints receive spiritual food from God through prayer lines and live their lives.
The Bible does not say, 'Sing without ceasing, preach without ceasing', but it does say, "Pray without ceasing." Then he taught the disciples to pray. Which one will do the greater work: my work or God's work for me?
If I fail to spend three hours in prayer in the morning, the victory of the day goes to the devil, the Reformer Martin Luther said. Johann Lax is also a man who devoted himself to prayer by selecting two hours a day in the morning. Johann Weltz was a man who devoted seven hours a day to prayer. James was the son of the Virgin Mary, the brother of the Lord, and the bishop of the Jerusalem church. He prayed so much that his knees became as stiff as those of camels. Heaven is not a way to run on two feet, but a way to crawl on your knees.
Prayer has the power to subdue the powers of fire, raise the dead, pebbles at the mouth of an angry lion, calm the storm, drive out demons, loosen the bonds of demons, heal diseases, make the sun abide, and turn back the will of God. There is. Prayer is the golden key that unlocks the vaults of heaven. Let's spend time alone with the Lord in the grass in the morning dew, in the red twilight in the evening wind, in a deep closet or a lonely window
Let's show ourselves in prayer to God our living Father, who comforts broken hearts, gives new strength to discouraged souls, heals sick bodies, and sustains wandering people.
The tears of saints never fall to the ground. Let's cut the ropes of the world and hold on to the prayer of life. When we hang a prayer line like a thick copper cord between heaven and earth and pray constantly, God gives us answers.
Fourth, he said, 'I am with him in their troubles.' Let's keep this phrase 'together with' in mind.
Often, when we are faced with a certain tribulation, we pray to get rid of this tribulation, to escape from me, or to run away in fear of tribulation, but the Lord does not want us to do that. Believers and unbelievers will experience tribulation. It is to give us the strength to endure tribulation and triumph.
In John 17:15, the Lord prayed to God and said, “It is not that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from falling into evil.” In the Lord's Prayer, he said, "Only deliver us from evil." This is not to fall into evil. We need to know that our act of faith in Jesus is not for the purpose of diverting any difficulties. There is spiritual growth of faith when we overcome, overcome, and endure tribulation with the faith and grace given by the Lord.
.
Fifth, "He will deliver us and glorify us." God glorifies us.
He will glorify you after you are healed. It honors you.
Sixth, He said, "Satisfy me with long life."
It is a common human desire to live long. However, longevity without God is not a blessing, but rather a disgraceful life. It is a mistake to think that the success of others is my failure. It is also a mistake to think that one's success is someone else's misfortune.
There is a thing called 'the rule of thumb'. It is rather an insult to live for a long time without getting sick and without food. But living with Jesus is eternal life, blessing, and life.
Seventh, there is a saying, “It will be seen as my salvation.”
There is a lawyer named Lionel Laco in the Republic of Kia in South America. He is a lawyer who has been acquitted in a row on January 1, 1982, for the victims of 240 different murders as of the time. A great lawyer who completely freed 240 innocent suspects at once.
But we have a greater lawyer than that, Jesus Christ. He is our salvation. You are the Savior. Jesus Christ has made all who believe in him acquitted before God.
This is a story that happened on the train. There is a vacant seat at a station. A young man tried to sit down, but a disabled person refused to sit first. The young man, who was standing there wittyly holding the handle, murmured that he had no luck.
The person sitting in front was also disabled, and he said to the young man.
"Sit down, young man. I will stand up. Let's change seats. And with seats, let's change legs."
We believers find conditions to be grateful for, even in the face of misfortune. This is where the difference between trust and disbelief comes from. We have an Almighty Heavenly Father.
A farmer and a stranger ate together. While we were praying for a meal, an atheist sitting next to me asked, “Is there anyone in the world who prays for a meal these days?” and gave me a pint glass. A farmer who believed in Jesus said, "Some people on our farm don't even eat." Then the farmer answered.
"The piglet in the cage."
The beast does not know gratitude. The beast does not know God. Animals do not know that they are sinning, nor do they repent. “Blessed is he who makes God his Jehovah” is speaking of us.
There was a faithful saint. One day, when the insurance salesperson persistently encouraged me to buy insurance, he replied that he no longer had to buy insurance because he had all the insurance, so he opened his Bible and quoted Psalm 91.
"Now, look at this. I am under the shadow of the Almighty. First, I have social security insurance, He is my refuge and my fortress. Second, Welfare insurance, and deliver you from extreme plague. Third, medical insurance." 4th, disaster insurance, so that your foot will not hit a stone, 5th, accident insurance, and you will be safe even if you tread on lions and vipers. 6th, insurance against damage and longevity. Life insurance."
That's a cool answer. My God, I pray that you will live this week with strength and courage with my God as your father. Amen.
