Title: My God Who Blesses
Bible: Jeremiah 29:11-14
Starting Point of the Word>>
This time, I would like to share a sermon with the title of “My God Who Blesses”.
There are two attitudes to believers who lead a life of faith.
One, I have faith in a fearful God from a negative mind thinking that I have to serve God because God may punish me and disasters and curses may come, and I have faith in a fearful God. I have faith and follow God with an active and positive thought that He will lead me to the path of salvation and the path of blessing.
In most cases, when we face difficulties, there are those who look to God with fear that this is not God's disaster.
The Israelites always looked to God with fear because they thought that God would scourge them when hardships, adversity, and trials came upon them.
But the prophet Jeremiah, who stood before Israel, said in verse 11 of today's text:
“I know that my thoughts toward you, saith the Lord, are not disasters, but to give you a future and a hope.”
It is God's will to give us a future and hope, not a disaster.
Therefore, today we must be able to believe and follow the good God who gives salvation instead of judgment, hope instead of despair, and assurance instead of doubt and doubt.
The God that you and I now believe in is a God of love and a God of blessing. As recorded in today's text, I hope you believe that trusting and relying on God who has prepared good things is a true life of faith.
Go to Word>>
So, how does God bless us?
First, God always prepares good things and adds blessings to those who do not lose hope.
God does not work on those who are disappointed, discouraged, and frustrated.
Even though discouragement comes now, despair comes now, and setbacks come, He works with grace and blessing to those who do not fall and look to Almighty God.
Example>>
Said.
If we look at the words of Psalm 118:5-7,
“I cried out to the LORD in my agony, and the LORD answered and set me up in a spacious place. The LORD is on my side, and I will not fear. What can man do to me? I will see what you do.”
Said.
For those who do not lose hope in the midst of tribulation and suffering, God prepares good things and adds blessings to blessings.
A person's life cannot be free from suffering and suffering.
Moreover, when this time of suffering and suffering is prolonged, a feeling of loneliness and alienation that is difficult to bear comes to people.
But the Bible clearly says.
“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
In Isaiah 41:10,
“Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
You said.
This word means to have hope, and it is to have hope.
Please remember that the poorest and happiest people in the world are not those without money, not those without honor and power, but those without hope.
Please believe that our Christian life should be a life of hope.
In this way, hope makes us live positively.
So, in Psalm 42:5,
“Why are you discouraged, my soul, and why are you troubled within me, hope in God.”
I did.
The more we experience trials and tribulations, the greater our hope is because Almighty God has given us the promise of hope.
Please believe that the reason God has given us hope is because the goal of that hope lies before us.
Therefore, we pray in the name of the Lord that you will become powerful saints who create every life of your life with hope.
Second, to those who firmly believe in God who has prepared good things, God gives the work of adding blessings to blessings.
If we look at verse 12,
“You will call upon Me and come to Me and pray, and I will hear your prayers.”
You said.
In other words, it will come true for those who follow it with faith.
God's work will happen when we believe that Almighty God will be revealed to those who seek Him.
This grace of God can be expressed on the following grounds:
㉠ God is the Father who cares for us.
Please believe that it is not the God who forsakes us, but the God who protects us to the end.
Therefore, good things will happen to those who believe in God.
㉡ Because God is the Father who has the best and best plan for us, it will happen to those who believe.
When we rely on the plan of a God who is wiser than we are, miracles happen beyond our imagination.
Miracles of life happen when we live by faith in God's blueprint that leads us to the best path.
God has unexpected good things planned for our future.
When we pass the street and the red light turns on, we have no choice but to wait for the blue light to come on.
We wait in hope, in anticipation that the blue traffic light will turn on. Like this, there are times when the red traffic light turns on in our lives and in our lives, but when we live with the hope that the blue traffic light turns on, the amazing work of God is revealed in our lives.
Therefore, when we pray, we look at the blueprint that God has prepared for us.
Today, I hope that you and the saints will hope for God's great blessing and grace toward us through faith.
Third, God will give us more blessings when we sincerely devote ourselves and persevere.
It is that great things will come to us when we believe in and devote ourselves to and follow the Lord with one heart.
Example>>
Pastor Philip Brooks took the professor qualification exam to become a professor at Harvard University, but failed several times.
He was engulfed in trouble and troubled by the bitter wounds of failure.
I fell into despair.
I fell into discouragement, and only sighed.
But a new path was opened for him.
After some time he entered a seminary to study theology, and then began to make a name for himself as a preacher at a famous church in Boston.
Then one day, a tailor who lived in his neighborhood came back after hearing his sermon, and immediately sent him a letter of favor.
Although it may seem that our lives have failed.
However, it is more important to go on the path of eternal success through the experience of failure rather than instantaneous success.
The same is true of our religious life today.
No matter what kind of tribulation and adversity there may be, we must believe and rely on God who has prepared good things and overcome it with the faith of the Seven Books.
If you look at Psalm 119:67,
“Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I keep Your word.”
The psalmist confessed,
In Ephesians 3:13, Paul says,
“Therefore I beseech you, do not lose heart over my many tribulations for you, for this is your glory.”
Said.
I hope that we too will become believers of faith who wait patiently for God's purpose and will during this time.
At the end of the speech>>
Organize your words.
At first we planned and prepared something flawless and perfect, but our weakness can break that plan.
However, please believe that God is the One who makes more beautiful things happen with our broken mistakes.
Even though failure and adversity may sometimes come before me and you today, I hope you believe in the living God, the God of power, who creates the best out of them.
Therefore, those who believe do not lose heart.
I pray in the name of the Lord that you and all the saints will be blessed with eternal blessings through total devotion, believing that God is planning good things for me and you today.
