my grace is sufficient
(2 Corinthians 12:7-10)
November is a month of gratitude. It is a month to think about “what should I be grateful for?”, “who should I be thankful for?”, and “how should I be grateful for what?”. Thanks for getting it. Thank you for believing, thank you for loving, thank you for understanding...,. So, you can see that those who are truly grateful are those who have received a lot of grace. If you believe in Jesus, you automatically enter the school of grace. If you do well in your life of faith, you will come to realize the grace of God that is abundant in the universe one by one. Therefore, a Christian is like a child born into the house of grace.(…)
Consider today's text. The Apostle Paul was a worker and evangelist whom God used dearly. But being imprisoned, beaten and chased... And that's not all. The apostle Paul had a deep and shameful disease. The disease is characterized by seizures and collapse. If you bubble and fall while preaching, will people accept Jesus Christ? The apostle Paul prayed. Three times, I decided to pray.(…)
Everyone! Think about it. Paul was a man who devoted his life completely to God. A loyal servant. Shouldn't God give a lot of blessings to such a person? God must bless such people abundantly.(…) However, to the earnest prayer for healing, God answered, “My grace is sufficient for you.”(…) What is lacking a little is grace. If 2% is insufficient, the stomach is comfortable. Happiness in what you lack. This means “my grace is sufficient for you.”
(1) He gave us a thorn to keep us humble and not proud.
(…) That's right. Pride is the vanguard of destruction. The man who always prides himself on being the best stumbles next. Pride destroys us. Humility is always living with a heart that is 2% lacking. This is the faith that receives the greater gift.
(2) It is to make people always depend on God.
Those who trust in God are humble. I obey. depend on it. I am loyal. (…) Gentlemen, where there are thorns, there is much grace. Thorn makes us sick and makes us weak. But the thorn makes us strong when we are weak. In this way, when we become weak, cry, repent, and humble ourselves once more, we can seek the power of Christ. (…) I do not know my destiny, I do not know the future, and I cannot look ahead, but God strengthens me when I am weak. A thorn in the flesh to man, failure, discouragement, despair. This is what we need, and here is the grace of God. Amen.
