Title: My Road (2014.5.25)

Word: Job 23:10-12

Title: My way

When it comes to the servant of suffering, it is probably impossible to talk about Job without mentioning Job in the Old and New Testaments. But is he a failure? Today, there is no one who becomes a hope, hope and an example to those who are going through bitter failures, tribulations, and afflictions like Job.

This is Job's answer to the rebukes and exhortations of Job's friend Eliphaz the Temanite. The wisest man knows his way.

A wise person knows the way he is going, knows the way he should go, and knows where he is going.

Job was thrown into indescribable suffering. Likewise, God is teaching us something today through these sufferings. He doesn't leave us alone, he cuts off the parts we don't need.

God holds us and passes us through this tunnel of trials.

This is Job's confession.

1. Know the right way and choose it (Proverbs 14:12, Proverbs 16:2)

A person can be discerning, he can be wise, he can be wise and shrewd.

On the other hand, they may lose their lives and be ruined because they misunderstand the way they are going. So, it is a blessing for a person to live with a good teacher.

The Holy Spirit and the Bible are our best teachers.

Choosing the right path and walking is the path that the Lord knows.

The path that people know is perhaps an easy and colorful path, but the path that God knows can be lonely, lonely, and bitter. But on the way there is the true comfort of the Lord and blessings. The same is true of Joseph's way.

The most right and beautiful way is to follow in the footsteps of the Lord.

2. After being refined, it will come out as pure gold.

When Joseph came out as a victorious person over the tears of pain, he became a model student and teacher of Christians' hard work for over 4,000 years.

In fact, it is impossible to know everything in a day, two days, a year, or two years, and even if you live ten or twenty years, you cannot know everything.

Perhaps more accurate than time is the threshold of tribulation, suffering, or death. Those who follow the Lord's way to the end, those who walk the path of grace to the end, and those who walk the path of Job to the end will eventually become pure gold, become the master, and become the eternal victor.

The Word and prayer are righteous machines that train us.

Tribulation and affliction are places where we are trained.

The bitter and painful moments are the moments that make us pure gold.

(1) The way of God's Word (Psalm 119:105)

Proverbs 16:9 “A man plans his way in his heart, but the Lord directs his steps.”

Job, David, and Joseph confess that they followed the word of the Lord even in tribulation and suffering.

(2) the way to be held in the hands of the Lord

Psalm 119:73 “Your hand has made and established me; give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.”

Just as a handful of soil in the hands of a craftsman is reborn as a masterpiece

JESUS SAYS

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jesus is the only true path we humans should take.
