Title: My Spirit Lives by the Precious Blood
Contents
The content of the text is John 6:53-59
Life is in blood. Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given you this blood to make an atonement for your lives by sprinkling it on the altar; for the life is in the blood, the blood makes atonement.”
The life of a person's body is governed by blood. When any one of the blood vessels in a person's body becomes blocked or does not circulate normally, it can be fatal or render a part of the body unusable. Blood is directly related to human life. But Jesus said that the life of the soul, not the body, is also in the blood.
John 6:54 “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day” do. 1 John 1:7 “If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” No other blood. Hebrews 10:4 “For the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins.”
1 John 3:5 “You know that he was manifested to take away our sins; in him there is no sin.”
Hebrews 9:12 “Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Holy of Holies once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.”
Hebrews 13:12 “Therefore, Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people by his own blood.”
That is why Jesus also said in John 14:6, “Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” The blood of Jesus Christ, the savior, is referred to as “the blood of the covenant (διαθηκη, diadeke)” in Matthew 26:28. God Himself made a promise, and through the prophets He continued to make promises through His Word.
Luke 22:20 “In the same way with the cup after supper, he said, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” (The common denominator) is that it was built with blood.
Hebrews 9:18 “For this reason the first covenant was not made without blood.”
God's promises include the old covenant and the new covenant. The Old Covenant (First Covenant) is divided into the covenant made with animal blood (Covenant of the Law/Moses) and the covenant made with human blood (Covenant of Circumcision/Abraham). The new covenant (the second covenant) is a covenant established with the blood of Jesus, not with the blood of animals or humans, and says that it is the gospel because there is forgiveness of sins, salvation, and going to heaven. Which one is better? It is, of course, a new covenant. A long time ago, I gave a sermon on the subject of “the gospel more precious than the law.”
There is no forgiveness in the law (Hebrews 9:15), but there is forgiveness in the gospel. Even the law has a weakness that it is unforgivable.
Hebrews 8:7 “If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for the second (new covenant).” Nira”
The new covenant is a covenant established with the blood of Jesus, and the blood of Jesus is called the precious blood. Human flesh and blood come from the blood (whole) of the earth, but the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ did not come from blood, but came from the Spirit. So when you drink the Precious Blood, you already drink it with the Spirit. The fact that Jesus' flesh and blood came as a Spirit means that he became incarnate, that is, the Word became flesh (John 1:14). John 6:63 “… … The words I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.”
When we see him, he is blood and flesh, and he is the Son of Man, but when he works in us, he is a Spirit. Therefore, the blood of Jesus is not limited by time and space, and becomes the power of God to forgive the sins of millions of people.
If the blood of Jesus that was shed 2,000 years ago is put in a bowl and each person needs to eat one drop at a time to live forever, the number of people who will be saved will end up in hundreds or thousands, but the blood of Jesus is the Spirit, which is more than enough to save all who believe is.
The Spirit of Christ and the blood (blood) of Christ mean the same thing. If I have the blood of Christ, it means that I have the Spirit of Christ. The Spirit of Christ is not the Holy Spirit, but the spiritual element of Jesus. In other words, a person who does not have the spiritual element of Jesus Christ is not a person of Christ. Only those who have the blood, the spiritual element of Jesus Christ, are the people of Christ. Spirit should live. We must live by the word. To live Jesus' blood. Those who have the blood of Christ, those who have the Word of Christ, those who have the Spirit of Christ, and those who have the Spirit are those of Christ. Good faith means that you have many spiritual elements of Jesus Christ. So that the Spirit may open living spirit. The reason the spirit must live is that we are spiritual beings created in the image of God who is spirit. Man is a being created in the image of God who is spirit (Genesis 1:26-27), and God Himself breathed life into man's nostrils to become a living spirit (Genesis 2:7).
Therefore, the spirit must live. This world is a waiting place for entering into heaven or hell. If there is the life of Jesus, it is heaven where the Lord is, and if there is not the life of Jesus, it is hell. In other words, if the spirit lives, they know that there is a kingdom of heaven and put their hope in the kingdom of God, but those who have lived over sixty do not even know that there is a kingdom of heaven, and even if they know it with common sense and knowledge, they put their hope in this world rather than putting their hope in the kingdom of God. You will go to hell to live. Because we do not depend on the blood of Jesus on the cross, but only on the things of the world, we live in a state of being dead in spirit and experience the punishment of hell at the end of our lives.
As a Christian with the Spirit of Jesus, I pray that you will communicate with Jesus through prayer, receive food from the words of Jesus, and live full of the spiritual elements of receiving the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus.
