Nehemiah 1
<Overview>
The temple of the people of Israel, destroyed during the Babylonian invasion, is restored to the temple of God through the rebuilding of Jerusalem, and the attitude of those who participate in the work and the opposing forces learn to trust God more and more.
verse 1
verse 2
Nehemiah would have been able to live as an escort in a high-ranking office without asking about the circumstances of Jerusalem. But he thinks of the country and the calling God has given him, and he asks one of his brothers, Hanani, about the state of Jerusalem. It is an act that violates the conscience of an unrighteous believer. However, the building of the temple here is not only about the external temple. Inwardly, we should all remember that it is God's precious temple, and we should pray and devote ourselves to it, hoping that it will be made into God's holy temple. Let's remember that we gave up to build the temple for 52 days.
