don't give up
Genesis 45:5-8
One success seminar lecturer mentioned Edison and the Wright brothers and said that they did not give up despite numerous failures. But when asked, “Did McKiste give up?” people asked who he was. The instructor answered. “He's a give up. History does not remember those who give up.” Koreans commit suicide at an average rate of 37 per day, and one per day jumps into the Han River. One guitar instructor says that 80% of guitar learners don't realize their dreams because they give up halfway. 10 of the 12 Canaanite spies gave up saying they were like grasshoppers compared to the Canaanites. In the end, I could not enter Canaan. Those who give up get nothing.
The protagonist of the blessing is a person who does not give up. Even if you fail, if you don't give up, someday you will get fruit. Two of the twelve spies went into Canaan because they had an attitude of not giving up, shouting, “They are our food.” God helps those who do not give up. A professor at a medical school asked a student. “There is a couple where the husband has syphilis and the wife has severe pulmonary tuberculosis. One of their four children is dead and three are lying with tuberculosis, while his wife is pregnant with another. What would you do?” One student said, “You have to have an abortion.” At that time, Professor Lee said, “You killed Beethoven now.” A life that was born and nurtured without giving up eventually became a great musician. Dear saints, do not give up your life and dreams. If you wait until the end, you will surely be blessed.
Joseph in the Bible is mentioned as a type of Jesus Christ. He became the second son of Egypt, saved a family, and was almost blameless. Originally, he was bullied by his brothers as a child and sold into slavery. When Potiphar's wife seduced him, he could have sinned by saying that his life was already ruined, but he didn't. He became a great person because he defended himself and did not give up on his dream. The Bible says “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest, if we do not grow weary” (Galatians 6:9). Seung-Hoon Lee, who won the gold and silver medals at the Winter Olympics, was eliminated from the national team selection last year, but he did not give up and was honored today. In Joshua 8, we see the Israelites' failure to conquer the city of Ai. But God promises Joshua that he will not be afraid or give up and that if he fights again he will win. Eventually, Joshua was able to go back and conquer the city. God blesses those who do not give up. I hope that you will never give up no matter how difficult life is.
Everyone, when you depend on God, you gain strength and energy to not give up. Those who come to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Paul also confesses, “My God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). The reason Joseph's life changed from curse to blessing and from suffering to glory was because he had faith that did not give up. His faith not to give up was born when he drew near to God. Look to God and depend on Him, and do not give up on love, passion, courage, victory and blessing. Blessings will surely come if you do not lose faith. I pray in the name of the Lord that you and I may enjoy this blessing.
