Title: New ability
Contents
The text is Isaiah 40:28-31
What are people most concerned about today? It's a health issue. Tiredness is a health problem! Compared to the past, modern people are living a tiring life while enjoying the benefits of culture and economic wealth. It is the life of modern people that even a boy is tired and weary, and even a young man falls and falls. Fatigue is becoming a problem that all of us must solve. So what is fatigue? Simply put, it refers to a state of exhaustion of strength (ability). In order to re-tighten the deflated balloon and let it fly, you need to blow fresh air. So, you must have the ability (strength) to float. That is how it will fly into the sky. So are people. What the weary person needs is new strength, ability. So, what is the source of our new strength?
First, the source of new strength (power) is God.
The prophet Isaiah cried out to the people of Israel who were weary, weary, and falling. Isaiah 40:28-29 “Have you not known or have you not heard? Eternal God, the LORD, who created the ends of the earth, does not grow weary or weary; do you”
God is the source of new power. Things like money, fame, knowledge, and power may seem like an oasis in the desert that will give us new powers, but in reality, when we run and grab it, it disappears like a bubble, and even if we get our hands on it, no new energy springs from it. So you embrace it and you fall, and you're even more disappointed. Only those who wait for, seek, and meet God can receive new strength. He alone is the source of power, wisdom, life, and blessings, and the Lord of hope.
Second, the source of new strength is Jesus Christ.
Third, the source of new strength is the Holy Spirit.
The new strength and power that the Holy Spirit gives us can give strength and courage to our weary lives. Let's long for the filling of the Holy Spirit. Let's fight against the tricks of the devil that take away our power. May new strength and new power be with us all.
“Lord! Give me new strength!”
