Title: New Life/Isaiah 44:1-17
Contents Bible Reading: Isaiah 44:1-17
Subject: A new life
The life of those who have been saved by grace is a completely new life.
(2 Corinthians 5:17) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old is passed away.
gone, behold, something new has come
It is not easy to live a new life because there is a new force of evil, but let's listen to God's voice through the text about how to lead a new life and live a new day with the help of God's Spirit.
1. Do not give, O Israel (1-2)
Those who are saved by the grace of God are those who have the authority to become children of God.
(John 1:12) God created us from the womb. that God with us
He is with us and helps us, so we have no reason to fear.
(Isaiah 41:10) Fear not, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, yea, I will help you, yea, with my righteous right hand
will hold you
Therefore, the saints should live with the peace of God by trusting in God who helps them in any situation.
2. Be filled with water and the Holy Spirit (3-5)
The water provided by Essuse is a spring of water that springs up forever.
(John 4:14) Whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never thirst.
It will become a spring of water springing up into eternal life.
The saints are those who live with the life of Jesus' resurrection.
Not only that, we must live a life filled with the Holy Spirit.
God has promised to pour out the Holy Spirit on all flesh and to those who believe and repent.
It is given as a gift.
When the saints live with zeal, they will live a life full of vitality like a willow by a stream.
3. Prove that you are a Christian. (5)
The life of a new creation is a life that testifies to Christ and shows that we are Christ. “Or he will write in his hand that he belongs to the Lord and give him titles in the name of Israel.” Those who have been saved show that they are children of God. Because the Holy Spirit lives and works in it.
A Christian must live a life that cannot bear this spiritual fullness and joy.
