* Today is the August New Moon service with the title of “Man’s First Purpose”.
& I will testify to the word of God.
- Now it's August.
- [Holiday season] / ** The best vacation is - Rest in the Lord.
** [Rest in the Lord] = Go to a prayer center and take a vacation
& don't get preoccupied with playing on vacation
& if you've been busy running / look around yourself - check the direction, / check the route
& Knowing how to come back again - the best vacation!!
** In that sense, during the New Moon worship service in August / where is the original position of a person...
& About man's primary purpose / Let's reconsider.
- Today's text 1 Corinthians 10:31 / “Do all things for the glory of God!”
** Short Catechism Q1 / What is the primary purpose of man?
- Man's chief end / is to glorify God / and to enjoy his name forever.
* This is a must! You have to remember.
- Today, I will briefly share this content.
1. God-centered life! //
1. First, what is glorifying God?
- First, there is a [center].
* Did you see [Top] / when you were young?
- For the top to spin properly / the center is just right! It should be straightened out.
- When I was young / to make the top spin / I put a bullet in the middle.
- By the way, when you put it / you have to hold the center well and put it in.
& Even if it is slightly skewed / When you turn the top, it goes back and forth.
** What is the most important thing for the top to spin properly / to win the top fight?!
- The center should be straight.
** I think our life today is similar to [Top].
- The center of gravity has to be straight / It doesn't mean that it turns well if you unconditionally turn it hard.

- How do you intercept so well?
- I'm not looking at the ball or the tricking motion
& I look at the opponent's center of gravity movement.'
- If you look at the shift to see where the center is going, you usually know / where it will move.
* So what is faith?
- Restoring the center of gravity.

- God-centered / Word-centered / Church-centered
- Why would you say this? = I bought it this way, so it didn't shake.
1) The same goes for a day. must be centered
- When dawn becomes the center of the day, the day is supposed to unfold in an orderly manner.
- Because those who fully lead the morning prayer life have a heart /
& Even if you fall into a slump for a day or two
& If you come out in the morning and focus again, you will recover again.
2) The same goes for a week / We have the concept of a week.
- Because the week becomes the center of the week / the fatigue of the week is recovered during the week
=- You may be in a slump for a week or two, / but those who take center stage through worship
& The slump does not last more than 2 weeks. / It never lasts long.
** why? Yes, because there is a center.
Ladies and gentlemen, faith in life is about taking center stage.
I hope that the blessing of becoming a God-centered believer will come.
2. A life that reflects glory!
2. Second, what is glorifying God? if
- It means to reflect the glory of God.
- ‘Reflects the glory of God!’
* By the way / that we glorify God
& tends to be understood as meaning to glorify God.
** But it is not.
* God is already glorified.
- As creatures, we cannot make our Creator more glorified.
- No matter how much we mess around / it doesn't make God more glorified /.
** We only reflect the glory of God./ We only reflect like a mirror.
- It's a reflection life.
** In that way, in order to be a reflective life
& It is necessary to receive the light of the Lord who is the light well.
- In other words, it is important to have fellowship with the Lord.
1) There is no love in us.
- But when we commune with God
& You will realize God's love / and become a person you love.
2) We do not have holiness.
- But as we have fellowship with God, our holiness is restored.
* Dear friends!
** For good reflection / please bring the Word closer than anything else.
- August / I hope you have another vacation in the month of communion with God!
3. To enjoy him forever!
3. And the third thing is to enjoy him forever.
* We should do everything with [fun] whenever possible.
** We often think of piety as [seriousness].
- But if you become God-centered
& everything we do can be done with / [pleasant] not [serious].
- Being [God-centered] and experiencing things = Whether it’s work, study, entertainment, work life…
& When God is the center, everything is enjoyable. / When we become God-centered, work is enjoyable.
* I was on a mission this time, and I saw people from other churches sending such messages.
Samil Church seems to have a lot of fun doing missions.” In general, I know that missionary work or evangelism is a path of hardship, hardship, frown, sacrifice, injury, and death. Of course there will be something like that. But no matter how hard there is, there is joy in it.
* If God is with you / no matter what you do
& can work in the midst of hardship / in joy.
& there is joy in it.
** This is the true picture of the life of a saint.
* Therefore, you obey God's word! / That's not all there is to it.
- Whatever you do, do it for fun
- What is not done for pleasure is not complete.
1) We enjoy family / study and
& Whatever you do, you can do it for fun.
** why? = Yes, because there is an abundance that God gives.
* But when the evil devil works / it makes us all [tormented].
- Making preaching a chore / Making service a chore
& takes away all the joy.
** But if there is the anointing of the Holy Spirit of God,
& spontaneity / to do God's work with joy.
** Everyone! Being God-centered through the anointing of the Holy Spirit
& I hope that you will become a precious servant of God who bears it with joy.
Let's all sing it together.
What is man's primary purpose?
Man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever.
The essence of this content!
Center is important!
To glorify God is to reflect His glory!
And do everything with pleasure!
Do not forget that this is the first question and answer, and I hope you will become faithful servants of faith in God's grace.
