Title: New people who have gained eternal life!
Contents
God first created the world he hated, and the people and all things that belong to it. Although God hates it, he first created this present sinful world so that he might create a new heaven and a new earth to please Him, and that He might rest forever with His newly created people in Christ Jesus.
When there is hate, there is love, and when there is hate, there is joy. If you don't know what God hates, you can't know what He loves. If you don't know what God hates, you can't know what His delight is.
Therefore, to God, all is “evening and there was morning.” It is written, “So is the resurrection of the dead, sown in corruption, raised in immortality; sown in dishonor, raised in glory; sown in weakness, raised in strength; sown in a natural body, raised a spiritual body. There is also a spiritual body” (1 Corinthians 15:42-44).
God created the perishable, God created the incorruptible, God created the disgraceful, God created the glorious, God created the weak, God created the strong, God created the physical body, and God created the spiritual. God made it.
It is written, “I form light and create darkness; I form peace and create tribulation; I am the Lord, the doer of all these things.” (Isaiah 45:7) He also said, “Of the wild beasts the Lord God made, the serpent was the most cunning. …” (Genesis 3:1).
The first heaven and the first earth, which will never come to pass, belong to a physical body and are creations that God hates. That is why the word of truth testifies, “It is not the things we see, but the things we do not see, that are seen, but temporary, and those things that are not seen, are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18) and “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, and the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea is no more” (Revelation 21:1).
The word of truth also says, “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and in that day the heavens will depart with a loud noise, the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and all that is on it will be revealed. With holy deeds and reverence, look forward to the coming of the day of God, and yearn for it. On that day the heavens will be burned and dissolved, and the elements will be melted with scorching fire. and a new earth” (2 Peter 3:10-13).
Those who will dwell in the new heavens and new earth are not of this world born of the flesh. That's why He said, "Unless a man is born again (from above), he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Therefore, whoever does not put on the new man cannot dwell with the Lord in the new heavens and the new earth. It is written, "You shall not lie to one another; you have put off the old man and his deeds, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge in the image of him who created him" (Colossians 3:9-10). When he came in to see this hand, he saw a man there without a robe, and said, "Friend, why did you come in here without a robe?" The king said to his servants, "Tie him hands and feet and throw him into the darkness outside. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:11-14).
Today, there are countless people who claim to have put on the new man, but I have never seen anyone wearing the new man. How many liars say that they are in the spirit and in the flesh?
It is written, “Those who are after the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, and those who follow the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. For those who are in the flesh cannot please God. If the Spirit of God dwells in you, then you are not in the flesh but in the spirit. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, No, but if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness” (Romans 8:5-10).
It is written above, “If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.” Therefore, if a person whose body is not dead for sins says, “I am of Jesus Christ,” this is a liar.
The Bible says about this, "...the cowardly and the unbeliever and the abominable, the murderers, the fornicators, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. death” (Revelation 21:8).
Also, “Jesus said to them, “The children of this world marry and are given in marriage; but those who are counted worthy to be found in the other world and to the resurrection from the dead marry and are not given in marriage, and they cannot die again. They are equal with angels, and they are children of God as children of the resurrection” (Luke 20:34-36).
The Lord Himself said to those who deserve this word of truth, “There are eunuchs born from the womb of their mothers, there are eunuchs made by man, and there are eunuchs who are self-made for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. :12) You did. Those who can bear these words are truly blessed.
Regarding this, even the prophets said in advance, “…Do not even say that I am a dry tree. , I will give you a name and a monument better than your children in my city, and I will give you an everlasting name, so that it will never cease…” (Isaiah 56:3-5)
Wouldn't it be the "firstborn" that "better monuments and names than children"? “General Assembly of the Firstborn.” This is the glory of the Father, given to the firstborn, Christ Jesus. It is written, “I have given them the glory that you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one” (John 17:22).
But now, here, let us all have the heart of the humble firstborn, Jesus of Christ. “[Song of Ascending to the Temple] O God, my heart is not proud, my eyes are not high, and I am strong in great things and marvelous things that are beyond my reach. I do not write.” (Psalm 131:1) Amen, thank you Lord.
