Title: Newly Like an Eagle
Contents National leader Dosan Ahn Chang-ho: “When a young man dies, the nation dies.” Jesus raised the dead three times. All three times, he brought the young men back to life. (Jairus's daughter, the widow's only son, and friend Lazarus) A young man must not die and must live anew like an eagle.
Verses 3-4 of today's Word spoke of all the good graces of God. Today, I would like to share mainly the words of verse 5. It compares a young man to an eagle.
I. What will young people fill themselves with?
“Satisfying” - A person is satisfied when he is filled with what he needs.
? Ex) Hungry people need food, sleep-deprived people need to sleep, and dry plants need rain from the sky.
? What should people fill? young people?
“Satisfied your desires with good things” What is “good things”? Saint, what do you think is good? Ex) The story of pearl trading. Matthew 13:45-46.
? Is there anything better than Jesus Christ? Hymns 102:1 Let's be together. I can't eat anything because I'm hungry. Jesus must be filled.
? Ex) The story of Ayako Miura: Teacher in her 20s - Meet Jesus at a tuberculosis sanatorium.
II. How can young people be renewed?
? “You are renewing your youth like the eagle.”
Cleaning makes it new: Throw away what you throw away. Hebrews 12:1 “… Put off all the heavy things and the sins that easily entangle us... “What is this sin of your own? find and confess
? Ex) A female college student: The world is not interesting, I used drugs and met Jesus at a college student mission.
? God always demands renewal. Jesus came to wash you with his blood. Young people can do great things when they are new.
Ⅲ. How can young people soar like eagles?
? Read Isaiah 40:31. “But those who wait for the Lord will find new strength, and they will soar up like eagles with wings.”
? Where do you get the power to fly? “Look only in Jehovah.”
Ex) The superstitious (?) story of Elder Yun Maeng-yeon, Korea's top nuclear scientist (Director of the Korea Institute of Nuclear Research): ? must always be new. Because of the things that make them incompetent.
Dosan Ahn Chang-ho: “If God suddenly appears and asks, 'What are you doing?', can you answer 'What am I doing?'” asked Let us always fill ourselves with Jesus Christ, be renewed, gain strength, and soar.
