Title: Nice to meet (Luke 17:11-19)
Saints!
as long as you live
I feel the worst when I meet certain people,
What kind of people did you enjoy the most?
Some encounters make us tired of even thinking about them,
Some encounters in our lives are truly precious and precious.
The more I think of that person, the more grateful and grateful I become.
What kind of people do you meet
What do you think?
I feel really good when I meet a loyal person.
I am a person who believes that people should be loyal.
Even a person who has good faith in God and prays a lot
Without the basic human will
For some reason, even the fact that you pray a lot with that belief
It seems hypocritical and even pretentious.
When I meet people who have no loyalty, I get very upset.
Loyalty makes people human.
A person with loyalty is a stylish person and makes relationships with people beautiful.
Saints!
He is a pastor I know and respect well.
I had to resign because I had a bad relationship with the pastor.
My parents immigrated to the United States, so I was forced to go into my wife's house.
Rent a small room for the in-law's house
He said he couldn't even sleep because he had a desk.
While living such a difficult life, a close friend of mine came to visit.
The friend is in graduate school, but he is also poor and has no tuition.
How can I lend you money?
But how badly
Would you have come to ask for help from someone who lives with you as a friend?
How many people would you have come to me if you had no one to visit?"
I paid his tuition.
He didn't lend it, he just gave it to him.
My throat was tight.
But when I found out who he was, I was very angry.
The friend is from Dallas.
All three people study together.
When I went to study in Dallas, I found out that airfare costs, hotel bills, meals, and books.
It cost too much money.
In the first week, three people slept together at the hotel and brought an electric field pot and dry side dishes.
I saved a little.
But the next week, I tried to save on hotel and food expenses.
I asked for a bed because my friend is in Dallas.
And the other one also had an older brother in Dallas, so he had a place to eat and sleep.
I was going to sleep in the car.
He also asked for a bed because his friend was in Dallas.
Because he hadn't said anything to him.
Because I didn't know the reason behind giving the money to that friend.
When I found out about that story, I became angry at that friend, saying that he was a very disrespectful person.
What if I could give money to a friend in such a difficult situation?
And if I had been helped in such a difficult situation
Can I forget so easily?
I thought, 'I really don't have any loyalty'.
I also heard heartbreaking stories from a pastor in Texas.
Even though the pastor was ill, he collapsed while trying to preach the word.
I was admitted to the hospital for 1 week.
Then there was a man who had good faith
"How long do we have to wait for the pastor?"
I took a new pastor and told him to leave the sick pastor.
But when the pastor tried to get out of the parlor, he had nowhere to go.
I also don't have money to move.
He told me that he moved to my brother's house in California.
People say that you have to have faith in the church, and that faith is the best.
However, it hurts when a person who has not become human is said to have faith.
If such people evangelize, will it become evangelism?
If such people say they have received the Holy Spirit because they pray, they do not want to pray with them.
A person must have integrity.
The women who followed Jesus were very loyal.
In particular, Mary Magdalene followed Jesus to the tomb.
We see Jesus' body missing there.
Knowing that the resurrected Jesus was the garden keeper
He asks for the body of Jesus.
She was a woman who even loved the body of Jesus.
She was a woman of loyalty who was not afraid of death.
In the text we read together today
One out of ten lepers was a righteous man.
He was a righteous man who did not forget Jesus, who helped him.
The more I think about how faithful God is to us, the more
I'm about to cry.
If we give to God our faith that changes and weakens from time to time,
The God of righteousness who keeps his promises to us is gracious to us.
Every time we believe and pray, God will keep the promises He has made.
He is a God of righteousness who faithfully keeps his promises.
God also loves righteous people.
We do not forget that God has forgiven our sins and has given us grace.
God is pleased when we meet faithful people.
Second, what kind of people do you like to meet?
Don't you feel good when you meet people you know how to be grateful for?
I feel bad when I meet people who don't know how to give thanks
I have no desire to maintain the relationship anymore.
I am especially grateful for El Paso Church.
Last time there was a South Central Pastor's Family Retreat in El Paso.
We stayed at the very luxurious Hilton Hotel next to El Paso Airport.
It was a Suit hotel where all the rooms had a fridge and had a sofa and kitchen.
We paid five thousand dollars to pay for our lodging.
It is a very grateful church.
Maybe our church is that big.
If I tell you, I believe that everyone will say Amen and answer them.
Won't you pray?
What a precious church! What a blessed church! don't you think
Is El Paso the only such church?
Our church is also a very precious church.
When I went to El Paso, I heard that our members gave me cash as a birthday present.
I am truly grateful.
Thank you very much.
Gratitude is indeed a beautiful thing.
There are so many things we have received from God.
Those who appreciate such things please God.
Saints!
There was a man who worked as an ambulance driver for a large psychiatric hospital in a southern city in the United States.
One day, as a regular routine, he put a mentally ill patient in the hospital.
I'm trying to turn the car, but through the hospital's upstairs window
I heard someone calling.
"Look at me!"
The driver looks over the hospital room
"Are you calling me?" he said.
Then a man with his upper body out the window of the hospital answered,
"Okay, but may I ask you one thing?"
The driver said, "What question?"
"For you have a healthy mind
Have you ever thanked God?"
The driver later said:
?쏧 have been working at this hospital for 15 years, transporting mentally ill patients every day.
I realized greatly that I had never been grateful for my healthy mind.??Some people count the fingers of a newborn baby one by one.
I heard that he thanked God for giving him all ten fingers.
Life without gratitude is like a pig
While picking up the fruits that fall from the acorn tree and eating them,
Life is like never looking up to see where that acorn came from.
Gratitude is a distinct characteristic of those who have realized God's grace,
Thank you to say thank you
You can find its origins in Think, which is thinking about what you helped.
In the words we read together today
All ten lepers were healed by Jesus.
But only one returned to Jesus and bowed down to pay his respects.
Jesus asks where the other nine are.
Those who have received grace from God and have their sins forgiven
God is pleased when we return without forgetting and give thanks.
God is pleased with such people.
Third, what kind of people do you like to meet?
And what kind of people do you feel bad about meeting?
I feel good when I meet people who are honest and sincere.
Honest and sincere people feel good every time they meet.
But those who try to hide and deceive,
dishonest people,
untruthful people
Every time I meet such people, I feel bad for some reason.
Honest people do not deceive people.
If you are wrong, admit that you are wrong.
Someone who knows they have a problem.
Jesus met such people, healed them, and loved them.
But there is nothing wrong with you,
Those who try to deceive people and even God by saying that they are not sinners.
Jesus was reluctant to even meet him.
If you look at the Bible verse we read today
When Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee.
At that time, Samaria was a town inhabited by sinners.
When the Jews went from Galilee in the north to Jerusalem,
When I went from Jerusalem to Galilee, it took me three days to go back in one day.
But Jesus did not always escape from Samaria.
There I met ten lepers.
others avoid or come close to, but
Jesus met them and healed them.
Why did Jesus meet them and heal them?
It was because they did not hide their illness frankly, but revealed it.
Pretending to be sick but not sick,
Pretending not to have sinned even though I have sinned,
When you are evil and proud and pretend you are not, Jesus sees through you
He doesn't even like to talk.
However, he confessed that he was a sinner.
to announce that he is leper, that he is ill
When we call to Jesus, ?쏦ave mercy on us,??No matter how shunned lepers, even Samaritans,
Jesus calls us near, heals us, and loves us.
Saints!
every time you meet God
keep faithful to God
Thank you and I bless you in the name of Jesus to live a true life.
