◈ Introduction: Noah, one of the three righteous men of the Bible, became one of the great men of faith in the text. What was Noah's faith?
1. What was Noah's faith?
A. It was faith in the Word.
1. His faith was based on the Word.
2. He believed the word of God, built an ark, and warned the world.
3. Believing that God's word will surely come true, he waited 120 years.
B. It was a belief that transcended circumstances.
1. Noah believed in things he could not see.
2. At that time, there was no rain on the ground.
3. I believed without a doubt for 120 years.
C. Faith followed by works.
1. His works according to his faith built the ark
2. He warned the people and went into the ark.
D. What are our beliefs?
1. Is it faith based on the Word?
2. Is it spiritual faith to believe in the unseen?
3. Is it faith with works?
2. Noah's Blessing
A. He saved his house.
1. All of Noah's 8 family members were saved.
2. Many great men in the Bible failed to save their family, but Noah's entire family was saved (Lot, Eli, Samuel, etc.)
B. Condemning the World by Faith
1. Believing and warning God's Word is the condemnation of the world.
2. Noah's faith condemned and warned the world.
(Compared to sin or unbelief, the crowds who practiced only rebellion at that time are in stark contrast to the modern Bible)
