Title: Not Just Today
Content Not just for today. (Ex 20:8-11)
Exodus 31:12-14 says that anyone who works on the Sabbath must be put to death. Because stealing is a sin committed against people, and you have to pay compensation, but breaking the Sabbath is a sin against God. So, mature believers thoroughly observe the Sunday, but on the contrary, inexperienced members do not keep Sunday well and neglect worship.
Many people lose this precious and blessed day to the devil. Then, what kind of blessings are we deprived of because the devil takes away our rest? (1) It takes away our faith. (2) It robs our family of happiness. (3) It robs us of our mission and rewards. (4) It takes away our health. When God created us, He created us to work 6 days and rest 7 days. That's the secret to keeping our bodies healthy. But ignoring it will make you sick. I pray in the name of Jesus that you will be freed from the foolishness of giving up rest.
What kind of blessing did you say will come if you keep the holy day completely? (Isa 58:14) First, the blessing of joy is given. Even if a person lives 80 years, how many days are there really happy and enjoyable days? If you take out the sick, sad, and failed days, there aren't many really good days. But God promises to give us pleasant days. That day is Sunday. So, when you come before the Lord, don't just go to worship and come, but give it with a sincere heart. Second, it was said that if I keep holy days, God will exalt me above other people. Thirdly, he will raise you up in Jacob's business. What is the meaning of the word nurture by Jacob's work? Since Esau was the eldest son, Jacob had nothing to receive, but in the end he received the blessing of the firstborn and received all the blessings of heaven. This is Jacob's work.
If you want to receive these blessings of joy, exaltation, and Jacob's blessing, 1) Prepare in advance. When it comes to Saturday, prepare your offerings, clothes, shoes, and your heart in advance. 2) Let's attend the worship service well and keep the time well. In the face of any temptation, he said, “Not just for today. Today is the day of God, the day of meeting with God, the washing away of sins, the day of forgiveness and blessing.” In the name of Jesus, I bless you so that you can enjoy the blessings given to those who keep the holy water on the Lord's Day and live well.
