John 17:1 When Jesus had said these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify the Son, that he may glorify the Father."
John 17:2 For you have given your Son authority over all peoples, that he may give eternal life to all whom you have given him.
John 17:3 This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
John 17:4 I have glorified you in this world by doing what you gave me to do.
John 17:5 Father, glorify me now with you by the glory that I had with you before the foundation of the world.
John 18:1 After Jesus had said these things, he went out with his disciples beyond the Kidron brook, and there was a garden there, and he went in with them.
John 18:2 It was a place where Jesus often met with his disciples, and Judas, who betrayed him, knew it.
John 18:3 And Judas came there with an army, and his servants from the chief priests and Pharisees, with lamps and banners and armor.
