Title: One Last Time/Acts 26
1 "I also faithfully believed in Judaism from my youth" (1-12)
Paul testified to King Agrippa of Judea that he was an orthodox Jew and a faithful follower of the Jewish religion. He also testified that he had a strict religious life as a Pharisee and was waiting for the salvation of Israel like his forefathers. He even confessed that he resisted the religion of Jesus of Nazareth, which he thought was contrary to Judaism, captured and imprisoned the followers of Jesus, and even put them to death. It is frank, wise and effective to openly reveal one's past and identify with the other person. As a Buddhist, a Confucian, or a superstitious person, honestly revealing your past and identifying yourself with a Buddhist, Confucian, or superstitious person is an honest, wise and effective way of evangelism.
2 “When it was noon, a light brighter than the sun shone on me” (13-18)
Paul then recounted the Damascus event that changed his life. He described the amazing event in which the resurrected Lord met him, the persecutor. The incident where the Lord of the Resurrection called his name in a light brighter than the sun, the incident where he rebuked himself, the incident where he made himself a servant and witness of the Lord, and the incident where he made himself an instrument of salvation to save Israel and the Gentiles stated in detail. The most powerful and effective evangelism is to testify of Jesus whom you have met. The Sugaseong woman did it, and the tax collector Sacao did it. The heart and the experience of life are more moving than theories and knowledge. This is because, in fact, people live on emotion rather than theory or knowledge.
3 “Since then I have been a witness of the cross and of the resurrection” (19-29)
Paul went on to testify that his life after meeting Christ had become the life of a witness for Christ. He confessed that he could no longer resist what he had seen from heaven. So he confessed that he was able to testify of the gospel of repentance and faith in Damascus, the place where he met the Lord, and also to Jerusalem and all the land of Judea and to the Gentiles. There was persecution and persecution, but with the help of God, they testified that they are still alive. So now I confessed that I testify of Christ before King Agrippa, Festus, and Bernice. He confessed that it is okay to be told that he is crazy or that he is crazy. He also said that he hoped that everyone who listened to Paul now would believe in Jesus and fall in love with Jesus as he did. In order to become a faithful evangelist, you must practice evangelism here and there. We must face persecution and experience God's help. You should also listen to the crazy ones. We must also have confidence and pride as an evangelist who wants everyone to be like him. Paul was a happy evangelist with an accurate sense of history.
