Title: One Obedient Man
Contents Bible Text: Romans 5:17-19 Title: One Obedient Man
Romans 5:17-19.
17 For by one man's transgression death reigned through him;
More abundantly those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness
will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. 18 Wherefore, as by one trespass many are brought to condemnation.
Many are righteous by one righteous deed
came to life, 19 just as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners.
By one man's obedience many will be made righteous.
In the Bible we see two pillars of obedience and disobedience in our relationship with God.
One is the result of the disobedience of the first Adam
It shows the results of the life of obedience of the second Adam, Jesus.
One man's disobedience plunged all mankind into death and suffering.
It is one person's obedience to experience the event of salvation from sin.
One person who obeys God's will by obeying the Lord's disciples
It spreads out on the ground.
A disciple is a person who has become a prisoner of the Word, following the instructions, words, and life of the teacher.
Simon Peter says in Luke 5:1-11 that his fleshly things, that is, experience and knowledge
Trusting himself, he labored and tried to catch fish all night, but failed with an empty net.
Although he has not gained anything, through obedience that depends on the Word, he is the subject of the Word.
He saw the incarnate (Jesus), and so he could see himself.
If a man who obeys the word obeys the word, the Red Sea will be divided.
Jericho will also fall. Let's train to raise up a person who obeys the Word.
Let's read the words of Ezekiel when he was called.
Ezekiel chapter 2 and chapter 3 verses 1 to 3.
1 And he said to me, Son of man, stand up on your feet, and I will speak to you. 2 As he was speaking to me, the Spirit came upon me and raised me up and set me on my feet.
3 And I heard the voice of him speaking, 3 "Son of man, I say to you, the children of Israel
I send them to those who betray me, because they and their fathers have sinned against me.
have come to this day.” 4 These children are shameless and hard-hearted; I am sending you to them.
Say to them, This is what the Sovereign LORD says. 5 They are a rebellious people, whether they listen or not.
Know that there is a prophet among them. 6 Son of man, though you are with thorns and briers, and you dwell among scorpions,
Do not be afraid of them and do not be afraid of their words.
They are a rebellious people, but do not be afraid of the word.
Do not be afraid of his face. 7 They are very rebellious. Whether they listen or not, tell me in my words. 8 Hear what I say to you, son of man, and do not be rebellious like that rebellious house.
Open your mouth and eat what I give you. 9 I looked, and behold, a hand was opened toward me, and behold, a scroll was found within it. 10 He opened it before me, and there were writings on the inside and the outside.
On it were written words of lamentation and lamentation and calamity. 1 And he said to me, Son of man, eat what you find.
You eat this scroll, and go and tell the house of Israel. 2 I will open my mouth, and he will feed me the scroll 3 And he said to me, Son of man, put this scroll I am giving you into your stomach.
Fill your intestines, and I ate it, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth.
A person of the Word, a person of obedience Through the life of a person who lives as a prisoner of the Word
To perfect the saints, to do the work of service, and to build up the body of Christ, the church
can afford it (Ephesians 4:11-12) 11 “He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, and some as evangelists,
some to be pastors and teachers." 12 This was to equip the saints for the work of service, for the building up of the body of Christ.
